Ryuko chased the Principal down the dim, gray hals to a back exit. When they reached the staff court yard, she flung herself at him, knocking him down. "Why did you take Mikisugi?" She growled in his er, pressing her blade to his throat. "He was relaying our plans to you." He managed to spit out these words, which just made Ryuko even angrier. "Well guess what pal. I'm pissed off. We will save this school, and there's nothing you can do about it." She called up Senketsu's power and used it to fight the principal.He jumped up and knocked her back against a wall.Ryuko slammed her fist into his nose, breaking it and sent him flying. They sparred like this for some time, before the older man grew tired. Ryuko delivered the final blow, and there was a release of power. Color returned to the school, and the students were amazed. Some of the older students had gathered to watch the fight. They all had a grudge against the old man. He had stolen something from everyone there, and they were fed up.
When she returned to the office, Mako was jumping up and down, cheering for her best friend. Mikisugi fell to the floor when she undid his bonds, and they held each other for a moment. "I hear you dropped out huh?" He grinned. She nodded, confused. "That means I can do this...." He kissed her, and Mako squealed. Ryuko blushed a bright red before laughing and kissing him back.
"What will you do now?" Mikisugi asked her later that night. "I'm not sure. Wonder I guess..." She put her face in her hands. Not having her dad still hurt her, and she had no idea where to find her sister. "You know Satsuki wouldn't want yo mo moping." Mikisugi spoke softly, and hugged her. She put her head on his shoulder and asked, "What will you do?" and closed her eyes. "I think I'll become the new principal." Mikisugi grinned. "And there will be all colors!"
The next morning Mikisugi was declaired the new principal by the board of education, and Ryuko departed on a ship, the same way she had arrived. "I'll be back Mikisugi." She whispered, and didn't look back as she left once again.
