All the doors in the hallway were opened, except he entrance/exit and another unknown door.

I crept quietly to the door and slowly twisted the knob.

~Nicola’s P.O.V~

I gasped at what was in front of me…

Jack was straddling Mai on the bed, trying to take her clothes off. Mai was struggling to get free, but he had a good grip on her hair.

The second the gasp escaped my lips, their heads snapped my way.

Jack’s eyes widened at the fact that I was out of the basement, but soon glared at me.

Mai used this distraction to get out of his grip, kneeing him in the family jewels.

Jack fell to the ground, clutching his crotch in pain. Mai grabbed me, letting the crutches fall to the ground. She cradled me in her arms as she ran out of this place.

“MAI NO! CARTER IS STILL IN THERE!” I screeched. But Mai didn’t stop. She kept running down the dirt pathway in front of the house.

We ran to the end of the block, finally slowing down in front of a small blue house on the corner. It had green grass and many plants. It looked like a house a perfect family lived in:

Two rich parents, one a stay at home mom, another a CEO. Two kids, a beautiful head cheerleader with long blonde hair, blue eyes. A big quarterback brother, with perfect brown hair, blue eyes. Of course you need the happy dog that everyone on the block falls in love with. If only my life was that perfect.

Mai ran to the silver car parked in the driveway, putting me in the backseat. I guess this is her place..

She ran around the car, and got into the drivers side.

Immediately as the car started, she backed out of the driveway and sped off.

“Nicola I need you to get my cell phone out of the cup holder.” She told me out of breath.

I grabbed her white iPhone 4 out of the cup holder as told.

“Good. Now swipe the little arrow, press contacts, search for your daddy’s name.” I did as told and searched for daddy’s names.

I finally found it, and looked up at Mai.

“You have daddy’s number?” I asked her.

“I got it for when we got out… We got out a little earlier than I hoped, and we don’t have Carter. I need you to call Daddy and talk to him. Tell him you are coming home soon and to get police ready. Okay Cola?” She asked me.

I pressed daddy’s number and pressed the phone to my ear.

I heard the phone ring a couple of times.

After the fourth ring, a very tired sounding Harry answered the phone.

B-  Hello?” He answered tiredly

N- Daddy… Its Nicola!” I told him happily

B- N...Nicola!? OH MY GOD NICOLA WHERE ARE YOU BABY!? OH MY GOD IM PUTTING YOU ON SPEAKER! BOYS! NICOLA IS ON THE PHONE!” Harry yelled. I heard loud footsteps through the phone.
