<Vic's POV>
_____________
Mike and I stepped off the bus, and I threw one last look at my daughter. She looks so angry. But at the same time I saw a lot of me in her, and a hell of a lot of her mother.
Mike sighed, exasperated. "Who the hell is this kid?" He asked.
I closed my eyes. "Do you remember Jaden Court?" I asked.
"Yeah...your ex-girlfriend from high school?"
I nodded. "That's our kid."
"WHAT. That-what, no, it can't be- right?"
I shook my head. "Yes, Mike, that's our daughter. Kaylynn Marie Fuentes."
Mike snorted. "All Mexican girls have that damned middle name."
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up, Mike."
"Have you ever seen her before?"
I shook my head. "No- her mother-" I couldn't finish my sentence because the RV door burst open. Kaylynn stormed out, glaring at us. "You asshole." She said to me. Then she ran off towards the stadium.
"Kaylynn, wait." I said, running after her,
She abruptly stopped, and said "How do you even know me?"
I stopped, and said, "I named you. You look like a carbon copy, almost, of your mother. You have my eyes."
She scoffed, and glared at me. "So what are you gonna do now, Dad?"
I flinched. Her words were as sharp as knives. "Honestly, I don't know."
Kaylynn smirked, and said, "I thought so."
"I mean, I would want you to come back with me, go on tour with me... But you probably wouldn't want to do that.. You probably fucking hate me."
Kaylynn kept a stone-cold look on her face. Then she sighed and shrugged. "I don't know if I do hate you, Vic. I know that I hate that you left. That you never called. That you never came to see me. I know that I hate how angry you and that shithead mother of mine made me. I hate myself. But I'm not even sure what I feel about you, though."
"Oh."
She nodded. "Gimme your phone," she said. I handed it to her, and she said, "The fuck is the password?"
"Your birthday," I mumbled.
Her expression changed only slightly, but then went back to it's original face.
She typed in her email, added her contact and shoved the phone in her hand. "I don't have a fucking phone. I have an iPod. The five. But yeah, I might not always have wifi so..." I nodded.
She started to walk away, but I called her back. "Wait,"
She sighed and turned around. "I'm missing Kellin Quinn time," she said.
"I know, but if you give me this chance, and this 45 minutes, I'll have you meet Sleeping With Sirens."
Her eyes glowed. "Fine." She said quickly. "But I better meet them."
I nodded, and led her back to the Tour Bus.
