Life went on as normal for a couple weeks. The guys were on tour in America and I was recording my first record at home in Australia. Then, something really strange happened. I started getting really sick every morning. Finally, Luke was back home after three weeks and witnessed the same thing. We decided it was time to go to the doctor. I called my doctor and made an appointment for the next day at 8:00 am. After several tests, and ultrasounds the doctor told me that I was pregnant. Luke and I were so shocked. It didn't seem real. How were we gonna tell everyone? We got back home and gathered the entire band together. "Dudes, we got some crazy news from the doctors today.", Luke said. "She's preggo, isn't she?", Ashton said. "Yes!", I replied nervously. Truth is with my career just starting and Luke always on tour, a baby seemed impossible. Eventually, we told our families. After the first trimester, Luke and I really started to anticipate the arrival of our bundle of joy. One night, Luke and I went for a walk on the beach. It was so romantic! Especially, the part where he got on one knee and asked me to be his wife! That's right! Luke and I got engaged. Our life had went off the beaten path but we both were over joyous to be doing it together.
