"I am Rolando Thief Apprentice Supreme!" I exclaimed in front of the class.
"AHHHH SHUT UP!" The other kids yelled as I stood in front of the class.
"But I am! I am the greatest thief the world has ever seen." I replied.
"Yeah then tell us about one of these great thefts you have committed." Micheal said as he stood from his seat.
"Okay, I will tell you of the time I stole Big Ben’s minute hand."
"That’s a lie. Why hasn't anyone heard about this?"
"It is no lie, now listen to what I have to say."
It was a rainy night in the city of London, England. I was talking to my soon- to- be Thief master as he told me,
"For you to be the apprentice of the great Jack Villion, great great grandson of the greatest Thief to ever; live Francois Villion, you must commit a theft of major proportions."
"I, Roland shall do this for you master"
"And one more thing kid- you only have twenty-four hours."
"I could do it in less." I said with a smirk on my face.
"Okay then twelve hours now leave me alone kid, you’re cramping my style." Jack turns, walking away with two young women in their twenties.
I walked away thinking, as the rain continued falling in torrents, soaking me to the bone. I should have felt cold but I was too excited as I thought of all the things I could steal. I walked past a bakery smelling of fresh baked bread and pastries.
"I could steal bread." I spoke to myself.
"No no no no! What am I?A hungry peasant?"
"I need to steal something big. Something a lot of people would notice."
I made way down the streets thinking of what would be the best choice...
*DING DING*
*DING DING*
The sound of the bell stopped me from my daydreaming as I looked up to see the glowing face of Big Ben. What a beautiful clock! It was the symbol of England, always accurate, never stopping except for a few times in its entire history. A smile formed on my face as I thought of the perfect crime.
3 Hours later
I carried my bag of tools as I made my way back to Ben, the rain still poured even after the sun had gone down. My black clothes supplied me with great camouflage as I moved undetected. When I got to the tower, I took one more look at it before making my way to the entrance. When I reached the door, I pulled the handle, but the locks kept the doors steady. I placed my bag down as I began looking for the right tools.
"Okay." I said as I found my lock picking kit.
I opened the kit, grabbing two small screwdriver-like devices. I stuck the first one into the keyhole, it made a *ting* as the screw driver went a half of an inch in using the other screwdriver I stuck it in the other side of the keyhole and proceeded to turn the lock as I heard the bolt slowly begin to turn.
*Click*
The lock made as I took the screwdrivers out and placed them back in the kit and into my bag. I grabbed the door’s handle as it now turned, opening the door. I walked in quickly, closing the door behind me. I looked at my wrist reading the time as eight-forty five. Only a few more hours until I had to meet up with Jack.
No time could be wasted as I began looking for the first set of stairs to the second floor. I found them rather quickly with no one else getting in my way. I kept this up for a few more floors until I reached the 9th floor. I saw a round light glowing on the wall moving towards me. I jumped behind a nearby book shelf of English tourist attractions. I waited as the guard walked past and the darkness of the room returned.
