Jacob's POV
"Aw come on! No! No! NO! NO! Please no!" I yelled at my black computer screen, I had just been in the middle of composing the awesomest song ever! When my hunk-o-junk computer let out a strangled sputter, and shut off. Groaning in frustration I kicked my computer, "You've got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed running my hands through my hair in despair! Sighing I resigned myself to the fact the song was lost, "Should have gotten a new computer years ago" I grumbled as I pulled the smoking box from under my desk, sighing again I slid the panel off coughing as the smoke wafted into my face, I stared at my fried motherboard, mumbling to myself I began to assess the damage, looking for something, anything that could be salvaged. "Oh please be okay, at least let this one thing be okay." I pleaded as I moved the wires away from my hardrive, I flinched as I looked at it. It was dark, blackened and burnt from the electricity. I shook my head sitting back on my heels "What am I supposed to do now?" I asked, "Well you could start by unplugging the damn thing." a voice said. I jumped spinning around to see my roommate Cameron leaning against my doorway, he chuckled "Old thing finally died huh?" He asked walking closer to inspect the damage, I waved him away "Don't even bother, the motherboard is fried, and so is the hardrive." He whistled leaning away from the still smoking box "Looks like you'll have to get a new one." He said and I glared at him "Yeah and spend a thousand bucks on a piece of crap computer that runs slower than this one, I think I'll pass." I said as I stood up and dusted myself off. Cameron shook his head "It'll cost more to repair it than replace it." He said reasonably. "Come on man, lets toss it." he said as he patted my shoulder, I sighed nodding solemnly "Okay."
