➳ Beginnings

Thousands of years ago a man snapped and lashed out, after getting rejected by a girl that he was in love with. This led to a huge massacre. The man had no pity and killed every one in his sight. The elderly, the poor, the young... even newborn children. He ended up killing thousands of people, including himself. After this had happened the government took action and created a new law. This law stated that as soon as you turned Eighteen you would have the government choose your life partner (your husband/wife) and that they will eternally be yours. The government will base this off of who they seem best fit to your biodata. You could not divorce, and were expected to start a family with your chosen partner. You ultimately had no say in your destiny. The government called this the Ultimatum. The government decided that this would be best ever since the massacre of 2070. They also called what was once known as Earth, Alexeria from there on out. The government also put out this law due to the fact that during time prior to the massacre divorce rates were increasing.

Ariana Grande is one of these people who will soon have to face her Ultimatum. She is not thrilled and feels like she's been a prisoner her whole life. As if she was lied to, her whole life. She knew of her fate ever since she was little but never paid much attention to it until the day came closer. She's not like your typical teenage girl. She has no interest in falling in love or getting married. She wants to stay single her whole life. She has a big interest in history and believes that true love was a rare coincidence back in the 2000's but ever since the Ultimatum got legislated, she believes that true love had been completely eliminated. All she focused on was her family, friends and her studies. She dreaded the idea of the Ultimatum and was in no rush to face hers. And if this wasn't already quite extreme, you'll be surprised that the Ultimatum is not the only change/advancement that has been made to Society.
