Today was just like any other normal day of Clinton High School. You roll out of bed, hitting your alarm to make it shut up. You're exhausted already even though the day hasn't even started yet. Throw on some clothes as you're walking out of your room, grab some food and a water bottle. Go to your "closet" and do your makeup as you're walking out of the door to go catch the bus. No matter how late you're running, always have to do something with your face to make you look pretty. You can't wait to get off the bus with the annoying people and music blaring, to go sit in the cafeteria and gossip with friends for a few minutes before the bell rings and off to start your day.

It seemed like any other ordinary Wednesday morning of Clinton High School. When I walked into my first period, literature class, I push past the couple making out at the door way, go to the back of the class and sit down with some friends. Bailey and Amber are around my desk with the new gossip for the morning topic. Mrs. Lewis walks in the door and goes over to her desk and puts down her bags and grabs out some papers. Great. The bell hasn't even rung yet and she's already trying to make us do work.

"Alright, everyone. Quiet it down" Mrs. Lewis says as she starts to clap her hands. The class only gets a litter quieter, and a few more people take their seats. Students are still walking in and out of the classroom, as the bell has not sounded yet.

*Ding Ding Ding*

"Okay, the bell has sounded. Sit down everyone," Mrs. Lewis makes another statement. More people take their seats and begin to be quiet, only few are left making noise and standing around. I don't hate this class, but it surely isn't my favorite. The class is a full with a good 35 students. Who doesn't love to be crowed? At least I get a good view of the city, sitting next to the window, as our classroom is on the second floor.

"Jason, come up to the front please," Mrs. Lewis says to the class. Jason gets up from the left of me and goes to the front of the classroom. As he is walking to the front of the class I couldn't help but to give him the 'up-down' stare as he gets up and walks past me. Even though it is the middle of November he still has a nice lightly tan. Not too dark as in the summer, but not the bright white blinding skin tone of the middle of winter. Jason has on khaki shorts, and a light blue stripped polo button up.

"Yes, ma'am?" Jason asks as he is standing in front of her. "Here, take these papers and start to hand them out," Mrs. Lewis tells him. As I apparently zoned out, I get back into the conversation as Amber is hitting my arm. She is clicking her purple nail polished fingers on my desk, waiting for my reply.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention, what did you say?" I say as I was hoping for Bailey and Amber to repeat themselves. "Okay," Bailey starts in again, "What I was saying was, what are we doing this weekend? Who's house are we going to be at?" "Um, well we haven't been at my house in like two weeks, why not mine?" I state. "Okay. That sounds great!" Amber says as the smile on her face is growing larger.

Amber and Bailey are my two best friends. Amber, she is kinda boy crazy and is great with her fashion advice. Bailey, she is like a 'closet poet' and has a "tumblr girl" fashion style. I couldn't live without either of them.
