Despite being pregnant, my career started to take off with much momentum. My first record went double platinum, within the first month of its release. I did a few shows here and there in Australia due to a strict no traveling rule by my doctor. Luke and I decided that a month before our due date we'd stay home in Australia to find a home and make a nursery for our baby. Within three day of looking, we closed on a four bedroom, five bathroom, 4500 sq foot house. It was our first home and we were so excited! Finally, the time came for baby! On June 20, 2013, a baby boy by the name of Ridge Axel Hemmings, was born. After Ridge was born my career began to pick up tremendously fast.
