ᴥ Review ᴥ
ᴥ Blurb: All right, the summary was short but definitely attention-grabbing. I did like it, however, this doesn't tell us enough about the story itself. There's a lot of mystery going on and there may possibly be a lot of action, but we don't know that – it's sort of conflicting since it does draw the reader in but doesn't provide us with enough information. Like, the given summary could be the 'opening' to the summary, while an actual summary follows after it, if that makes sense. Think of how a book's blurb is written, for example; there's a few sentences at the top that grab a reader's attention and then there are several paragraphs that elaborate what's the story going to be about – the protagonist's journey, who we'll meet along the way with him/her, and so on.
But it did interest me to a certain extent.

ᴥ Character Analysis:-
The canon characters were all right. They weren't extremely OOC, just a tad, which was good enough for me – but the fic mostly brought out Touka, who, like I said, was not extremely OOC. She was done pretty accurate, so, yay!!
Except for one scene maybe, in chapter 6; when Touka sees 'Lullaby', aka Kurosaki, she turns a bit OOC. She wouldn't drag him into an empty room to interrogate him; rather, she would wait until she finds him alone and then confront him about his identity, but not in a straightforward manner like shown in the story. Also...she's not very touchy and even though she sort of has a temper, she wouldn't snap at him the way that she did...but that's just how I perceive her, so it's all right.
I couldn't help but feel as though Kaneki was a bit OOC, too, but maybe that was because he wasn't present as much.
And I loved seeing Suzuya and Shinohara – those are two of my favorite characters. I did not see them OOC at all. :)
As for the OC herself...um, I'm a bit confused. There are about three OC's: the main character, Kurosaki and Akihiro. Akihiro is Kurosaki's friend, and Kurosaki is the Lullaby.
The main character herself is quite confusing. She is a ghoul, but when she turns ghoul, she doesn't remember what goes on – as though turning into a werewolf. I'm not a hundred percent sure that that's how it goes, but then again it is valid when a ghoul's really hungry – like when Kaneki was unsure whether he ate Hide or not after fighting Nishio. But anyway, there's a lot of stuff I don't know about her, which means that there'll hopefully be more to read about her. :)
But I'm also curious about this 'alter-ego' within her. Does this mean that she's an artificial ghoul, like Kaneki? Like, he only sees Rize because he personally didn't want to give in to this ghoul side of him, so I'm wondering if the main character's the same.
A lot of questions that have yet to be answered...still, the main character and Kurosaki were very nice to read on. Kurosaki's so very interesting to me and I'd love to see what happens to him – if he and Touka were to fight, or if he'd meet the main character. By the end of the book, there's a little scene that got me really curious, too...I have theories already! xD
