Yes, I have returned, my friends. Get on in there.

*herds readers into pig sty again*

nicevibe here again, and I've only got a minor rant for y'all today, pertaining to the origin of a Ghoul.

Throughout both the manga and the anime, not once has Sui Ishida, or the series' writers/producers delved deep into the origin of ghouls, and if you know me, I'm all about origin. Hell, as soon as they release that shit, I'mma have another story whipped on this website like... Uh, actually, that's not exactly an appropriate metaphor. You know what, I ain't ever care. You're gonna see another story in my works whipped out on here like a man whippin' his helicopter out his pants. The hell with finishing a story, right?

*sighs deeply*

We know about the One Eyed Ghouls, like Kaneki, Nashiro and Kurona. We know about Eto (hopefully) and her connection to Yoshimura ((don't wanna spoil too much for those who haven't read too far into the manga or watched Root A (I at least hope you've watched Root A. Come on.) but Eto is Yoshimura's half-human, half-ghoul daughter, as he conceived with a human woman whose name I forget, oops, r.i.p)). Then there are Ghouls like Touka and Ayato and all them, who are born Ghouls from their Ghoul parents.

But just how did the race of Ghouls begin?

Wanna know my theory?

In the Tokyo Ghoul universe, there exists a cell called Rc Cells. Now, there are humans out there who've indefinitely had to have evolved from their anthropoidish lives, causing their stem cells to mutate into Rc Cells, because stem cells are used to artificially grow other organs, or naturally in the body.

When these Rc Cells mutated, their mutation caused a growth, which formed that little sac-like organ, the Kakuhou, inside their bodies. And keep in mind that Ghouls existed and came into light well over a hundred years back, so there's no way they could've been created biogenetically in a lab or in the like. This was a natural, unnatural occurence.

The reason Ghoul mothers and fathers are able to reproduce is because the mother's eggs in her ovaries aren't regular eggs anymore. The somatic cells (the cells you receive from both your mother and father - or Chromosomes - who each have 46 of these cells) in your body as you grow from a newborn to an infant to a child are absorbed into the egg you're born from over a course of nine months. And because you have their cells, you become a Ghoul as you grow older. I'd say... by the age of four to six, you begin showing signs of Ghoul-like behaviour.

An easier theory?

It's similar, but in fact, Ghouls aren't really a separate species. They are the descendants of early humans who had engaged in cannibalism. Gifted with higher concentrations of Rc cells, and as a result, they could only survive off human meat.

But this theory would only work if we knew the actual timeline of when and where Ghouls originated from, so I'm trusting my first theory.

SHIT THOUGH, IMAGINE IF I'M RIGHT, HOOOOOOOOOO

And that's all from me, for now! Tata(ra)!
