"It's been two years, yet the ground hasn't change at all..."
"Has it not? Seems that you're not paying attention, much."
The ravennett gave the male in the glasses, that is slightly behind her, an annoyed look.
The light of the white moon shined the town, illuminating even parts of the shadowed territory. Much like the small valley where the the main character and her brother stood, facing the glimmering small yet lively town. Glancing from nook to nook, analizing it slowly, observing from the details to details.
At the same area, just bellow the foot of a the valley, was set a small campsite, surrounding the cozy warm feeling of the campfire that was lit up by one of the main character's friends.
"Why do even need to stay here for the night? We're back home, aren't we? Why can't we just go back to our own cottages?"
"The consequences... some party of the guild might identify us,"
The calm voice gave out the reasonings.
"Atsuki's right. Even though most part of the guild are busy partying and getting drunk, there are some that rather stay inside,"
The previous ravennett slide down the valley, followed by her companion with the glasses.
"As what Tanami said before, we can't burst their bubble of happiness. Just yet," Her companion spoke.
"Funny how you'd say that... seeing as one particular Dragon Slayer is still having thoughts, although he masked it pretty nicely,"
"Yet still not good enough to deceive, those who has known him,"
Natsu Dragneel. The Fire Dragon Slayer.
And he was right. It might be good enough to deceive those who has yet to know him, it's was clear as a glass for those who has stuck by him over the years. Especially the female with the scarlet of hair.
The main character, named Tanami, stared at him from the distance. Too long to even remember her friends that are now staring at her back, as she dozed off to nowhere.
"You think too much,"
Was the word that snapped her back to reality.
Turning the crook of her neck to the right, enough to spare a glance at the people behind her, she took a good look of the expression they wore. Shifting slightly to get more comfy, she look at them with a tilt of her head.
"Do I?"
She answered with a question. A small sincere yet mischievous smile crept up to her face. Earning an eye roll from most of them, and a shook of a head, from one.
"We'll be leaving soon enough, you need to stop gaining thoughts,"
Spoke the only one that shook his head as a response.
"Takaya, It's currently midnight. I doubt we'll be leaving soon enough,"
"SHUT IT, MIDGET!"
"HEY JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE 13CM TALLER THAN ME, DOES NOT MEAN I'M SHORT!"
"But he didn't call you short. He called you midget which means small,"
"SAME THING!"
Tanami shook her head and sigh with a smile. Whilst Atsuki, the voice of reasons, doesn't even spare a glance. Seeing the Takaya, the one with the different response, and Katana, the one who lit up their fire, quarrel was just too common to even spare a glance.
In the midst of the insults that was thrown away, a quite huge log hit straight to the both of their face. By none other than the one who has been quiet, the last of the characters, Yuki.
"Can you two keep it down?! You'll attract unwanted attention!"
Takaya and Katana glared at each other before finally throwing away their faces to the opposite direction, with a huft.
"Speaking of leaving, attention, and not to mention time. We should take some rest now,"
Everyone agreed at Takana, the male with the glasses, 's word.
"I'll join you guys later,"
Tanami leap off from her spot just above the rock where she slide down, to the ground, before calmly walking away, hands in her pockets. And not even spearing a glance to her friends who started at her retreating back who expressed melancholy on their face, she dissappeared.
"It's best for her to clear some of her thoughts. After all... we're going home to the start of a war,"

Walking aimlessly around the forest near the campsite, Tanami kept her solemn thoughts. From the newest past events, to the possibilities of the future. And from those thoughts, every ounce and every crook, scared her. It scared her to the point where it is terrifying.
She stopped to take a breath, composing herself, clearing all those negative numbers. Slowly, she raised her head and search at her surroundings before eventually slid down next to a tree, under the shining moonlight.
She closed herself. Both mind and body, before sliding lower, gaining the position of laying down on the prickly, green, and cold grass beneath her.
"What have i done? What did i do so badly that i have to experience all of these occurence?"
She questioned herself one more time, before sighing deeply, and dragged herself to a deep slumber.
