Here’s to the girls who have been...

Laughed at, beat up, and have grown stronger within

Here’s to the girls who stay up all night listening to music that inspires them

Here’s to the girls who are secret gems

You’re beautiful, smart, funny, a true femme

Here’s to the girls who laugh, smile, cry, forgive and think on a daily basis

Here’s to the girls who are able to find their oasis

You ignore those who are and try to be rapacious

Here’s to the girls who love, learn and regret

Here’s to the girls who refuse to shy away from threats

You try over and over again to not break a sweat

Here’s to the girls who are secretly falling apart but refuse to show it

Here’s to the girls who constantly take a hard hit

 You learn the hard way and live to tell about it

Here’s to the girls who honestly don’t have it easy

Hey! So this poem was really random but I honestly just thought of it and I legit just made it up a few minutes ago. Crazy, I know. But basically, I said a quote that I made to a few of my friends then I made it into a poem. So the quote was...

"Here's to the girls who don't always win. The girls who stay up all night listening to music that inspires them. The girls who laugh, smile, cry, forgive and think on a daily basis. The girls who love, learn and regret. The girls who are secretly falling apart but refuse to show it. The girls who don't actually have it easy. The girls who learn the hard way and live to tell about it. Here's to the real girls." 

Basically I was trying to make them feel better about some stuff and it was like a toast type thingy at lunch. :) So I hope you enjoy.
