His last day of college before Spring Break, he’s in Massachusetts, Springfield University, he always keeps in contact with his old friends from his High School though its been 3 years, his Junior year of college is almost over, he has plans to meet up with his best friend Morgan, on his Vacation, back to his hometown of Dallas Texas

        “Nathan!” he heard the ear shattering screech of morgan on the other end

       “Yeah, MorMor?” he replied with his phone between his ear and his shoulder, while he packed his last shirt

        “Who is your best friend in the whole wide world?” She sing songed on the other end

        “Uh, Roberta?” he wasn’t paying attention, just trying to zip up his suitcase

        “Do you even know a Roberta?” she said in an accusatory tone

        “Wait, who what?” he said finally paying attention

       “That’s what I thought, but I also scored us two front row tickets to Demi’s next concert here in Dallas, which happens to be this week” she said, and heard nothing in return “Nathan?”

He held his phone so close to his ear to make sure he heard right, he was speechless

       “Nathan if you don’t answer in two seconds, i’m giving these tickets to Roberta!” She said the name Roberta mockingly

        "Why can’t my plane come any sooner?” he whined into the receiver of the phone Morgan laughed

      “See you later Nate” he hates that nickname, and she knows it but she uses it anyway,

He hung up his phone and threw it on the bed next to the suitcase he just spent an hour packing up, and ran his hand through his mop of brown hair, slightly fixing his glasses, in 4 hours would be on his way to Dallas Texas, he can’t wait to see his mom, who hasn’t stopped talking about how much she missed him since he left, his brother would be flying home, they haven’t seen each other since Summer, he’s spending his last four hours with his girlfriend, Paisley, they’ve almost been dating two years

        “babe, i’ll be there in five minutes”

        “Alright, ill leave now then”

he smiled “I Love You” and hung up his phone, gathered all his bags and headed for the stairs, where he descended to his car and put his bags in the back and climbed in the driver seat starting his ignition and heading off to the restaurant

He parked and saw his girlfriend standing in front of the doorway, her shiny brown hair almost reaching her lower back, her side bangs hitting about her eyebrow, her head darted up looking around for him again, her blue eyes searching the perimeter carefully for him, when she didn’t see him she huffed and looked back at her phone starting to type, Nathan ripped the keys out of the ignition

        “Hey, Paisley” he mumbled in her ear snaking his hands around her waist,

she smiled and leaned her back onto his chest cupping her hands on his

        “we better go in” he says in her ear, and kissing her collarbone as he let go of her, she started walking to the door of the restaurant, they walked in and he took the lead to the hostess’ podium

        “How many?” she asks, with a big smile on her face

      “Two” Nathan said and looked over at Paisley, the hostess grabbed two menus and motioned for them to follow her

     “here” she said setting down the menus “You’re waitress will be with you in a moment” and she walked off to where she was before Nathan looked over his menu

       “Want an appetizer?” he asked,

Paisley shook her head,“Well it depends on what you want for an appetizer?” she asked Nathan

        “Nachos?” he peeked up over his menu at Paisley and she just nodded, the waitress came over

       “hi, my name is Roberta, I will be taking your order, so anything to drink?” and she put down the coasters’ for the drinks

        “Coke” Paisley said and Roberta turned her attention to Nathan

        “Same, thank you” she nodded scribbling it down

        “Any Appetizers for you guys?”

      “Nachos please” Nathan said, Roberta nodded and walked off into the kitchen area, two minutes later she came back with their drinks

        “Entreé?” She asked staring at Paisley

        “Pasta” she said and took a sip of her coke, Roberta turned her attention to Nathan

       “Steak”

     “How do you want that cooked sweetie?” he looked at her for a minute face scrunched up in concentration

        “Medium Rare” she nodded scribbling it down

        “Sides?” he looked back down at his menu

        “French Fries and Corn” he closed his menu and gave it to her. She nodded and walked off pulling his soda to him he took a sip "Mind if I text Morgan something quick?" He asked cheesin at her,

She smiled, "of course you can"

He pulled out his phone and thumbed a quick message

        To: Morgan

       Guess What!

He put his phone back down and waited for her response talking to paisley about the most random things he could think of

      From: Morgan

       What?

      To: Morgan

       My waitress, her name is Robeta!

he chuckled and put his phone down taking a sip of his coke and cutting into his steak they made idle chit chat

once they finished their dinner

        “Nathan, i’m gonna miss you so much!” Paisley said throwing her arms around his neck, he rested his arms on her waist

        “I will be back in a week and we will do something the second I get back, I promise” he kissed her forehead

She nodded and let go of his neck, but lacing their fingers on the way to her car

       “I Love you, stay safe” Nathan said closing the door

He watched his crying girlfriend put her seatbelt on the engine roared and she waved at him, he walked off to his car and drove to the airport

    The flight attendant called “Flight to Dallas Texas now boarding” and he gave his ticket to the guy at the podium, he boarded and found a seat in the middle of the plane by the window, a lady sat next to him, she didn’t say anything the entire flight, the plane ended and he stepped off, he didn’t see anything he just felt arms wrapping around his torso of his mother crying and kissing his head

        “I missed you so much my baby” she pulled off of him and pushed her black hair out of her face and wiped the tears from her face, “Now we just have to wait for John”  they made their way to the baggage claim to collect his suitcase, and then sat and waited for John.

        “Excuse me” he heard a voice say,

he moved his hair out of his face and saw a girl her hair was in her face and she was wearing sunglasses

        “Yeah?” he asked

       “My pillow fell under the seat, and kind of got kicked too....” he looked under his chair and handed it to her

       “Wait, you’re” he stopped mid sentance when she silenced him

       “Yes now take this and don’t tell anybody” she looked at him and added “Please” he took the paper and looked at it, as her figure retreated.
