Dan's pov
"PHIL!?" I shouted from the top of the stairs.
"WHAT DAN?!" He shouted from the lounge room.
"COME HERE!" Thanks Phil, my voice now hurts.
"What?" Phil spoke while walking to the bottom of the stairs.
"Where's Bonnie." I asked worryingly.
"I thought she as in your room?" Phil assumed.
"Dan?" He asked.
"What." I ran my hand through my hair, running down the stairs and grabbing my coat, Phil doingthe same.
"Do you like Bonnie?" Shit.
"What?"
"Well it's not really a question, I know you do I can tell." Phil smiled.
"This isn't the time for this conversation, Phil." I stared at him in disbelieve as how he could ask me such a question at a time like this. I saw Phil open a drawer, his hand went inside the drawer and pulled out a journal.
"What's that?" I asked, concern and worries chime through my mind.
"It's Bonnie's." Phil began to look through it.
"Phil!" I stopped him.
"What?" He looked at me, his face all scrunched up.
"We can't just look through it." I took the journal out of his hands.
"It might give us a clue to where she is." Phil spoke while grabbing the keys and locking the door behind us, while I had Bonnie's journal in my hand. I was hesitated to why I should read it, but Phil was right, I opened it up.
'Sunday 17th September
Im not sure what to do. Nick has become a lot more abrupt with me since he has moved in, but only when my mum is out, he shouts at me for an unknown reason, calls me a disgrace, disappointment, that no one wants me. It's already bad enough them things, and fuck, it hurts to be told them from someone you thought was nice and genuine from a young age.'
'Saturday 4th November
'I've been diagnosed with Depression.'
I read on, tears escaping my eyes.
"Dan?" Phil touched my back.
"Are you okay?" He looked up at me.
"We need to go to her mums." I shut the book and walked away, speed walking down the street to Bonnie's house.
HOW DARE NICK LAY A HAND ON HER!
