Despite the comments swaped in the kitchen, Erica knew she had to get on with her day. She went upstairs and freashened herself up for the lunch. "Just don't tell anyone. Don't tell anyone." Erica kept repeating in her head. Erica walked to the bathroom to check herself. She turned on the light and walked to the sink. When she turned on the sink, what she felt fall on her hands, wasn't water. She looked down and saw red, thick substance falling onto her hands. At first she was confused, then she tried turning the faucet the other way but it didn't work. More red spilled onto her hands. Paniced, Erica rubbed her hands frantically trying to get it off. She lifted her hands from the sink shakingly and quickly. Looking around the bathroom for a towel, she glanced at the mirror.
There. There she was. In wet clothes, bruised, and blood dripping from her forehead from when the car hit the water. Kelsey was staring at Erica right in the face. Erica backed up hoping to feel the door but hit the wall. Kelsey walked to the mirror, slowly and reached out to touch Erica. Erica tried distancing herself but she couldn't go back any further. Faintly, kelsey said, "Tell..." Kelsey reached out her hand but only to cause Erica to scream. She squeezed her eyes shut until Keeleigh came in. "Erica?! Erica what's wrong?" Keeleigh walked to Erica and grabbed her face. Erica opened her eyes and tried speaking. "Erica? Use your words." Keeleigh said. "I s-saw..." she swallowed hard trying to explain. "There's someone .. in the mirror." She finally said. Keeleigh looked confused and turned into the mirror. "There's nobody in the mirror." Erica widened her eyes. "What..?" "There's no one in that mirror." Keeleigh pointed at the mirror. Erica pushed past Keeleigh and rushed to the mirror. She wiped the mirror over and over again.
"sh-she was.." Erica said. "I swear i saw her in the mirror! And..and the faucet.." Keeleigh sighed and walked to the faucet then turned it on. "See? I'm not crazy. I told you." Erica said. "Yes. You're not crazy cause it's water." Keeleigh said. Erica shook her head and looked at the sink. Keeleigh was right. It wasn't blood at all coming from the sink but regular cold water. Erica looked down at her hands. They weren't red anymore. "Are you feeling okay?" Keeleigh said walking next to Erica. "I just ... need ... sleep." Erica said. She grabbed the towel and wiped her hands. "Okay. Um.. you want me to call someone?" Keeleigh asked rubbing Erica's back. "No.. I'll do it myself." Erica looked into the mirror hoping Kelsey would pop out somewhere to prove she wasn't crazy. "Okay, well i'm gonna meet Tom and the boys. Call me if you need anything." Keeleigh kissed Erica's head and walked out.
Could Erica have possibly imagined the whole thing? But if felt so real. Everything. Kelsey looked real. So did the blood. It was all so confusing. Erica thought she needed sleep so that's what she went to do. She layed down in bed and stared at the clock until she dazed off to sleep. Erica tossed and turned in her bed. She felt a misty, cool air against her face as she continued sleeping. She heard the piercing scream again and shot open her eyes. "Wha.." She sat up and looked around. She wasn't in her room anymore. She was back at the bridge. She was on the ground near the rocks where she and keeleigh moved kelsey's body. "This is a dream." Erica thought to herself. "This is all a dream.." But if it was a dream, why did everything feel so real? She turned towards the water. Something was rising. Erica got up and stood there watching the object. It had blonde hair, wearing a black dress with one heel on, and blood dripping from its forehead.
"no.." Erica whispered. "Erica.." it whispered. It was kelsey again. "G-Go away kelsey" Erica said to her. She started to back up trying hard not to stumble. "You saw what happened." Kelsey said to her with coldness. Erica's hands started shaking again. Her instinct was run to the bridge and that's exactly what she did. But kelsey was already there. Kelsey was a ghost and could get anywhere. "You know what happened to me," Kelsey started off. She grabbed Erica by the neck just like what Keeleigh did to her. Squeezing her neck until she heard the sound of a crack. Erica tried screaming but couldn't get it out. She gripped Kelsey's wrist as Kelsey lifted her. "Yet you still haven't told.' Kelsey growled. "I ... can't," Erica said between gasps. Kelsey hung her over the side of railing. At this point Erica thought she was gonna die just like Kelsey. She was kicking and gasping.
"Don't Kelsey please." Erica said in her mind hoping she could hear. "You watched me die," Kelsey whispered to here, "Now i l watch you." In a split second, Erica was thrown over the railing screaming for dear life. It went by quick and she was prepared to feel the hard splash. But that's not what she felt at all. She woke up screaming back in her room. In her own bed. She looked around. Every poster, every picture, everything in her room was there. She sat up quickly and searched for her phone. She dialed Nathan's number dispite her loosely grip. "Hello?" a mixed britsh accent said on the other line. "Nathan? Nathan it's me Erica." She said with fear in her voice. "Hey Erica what's wrong?" He asked worried. "Go get Naomi and come by. I need to tell you guys something i've been keeping for a long time that i just can't keep anymore. It's haunting me and..and i just can't do it anymore." "Okay okay. I'll go by and get her and we'll be there soon just keep calm til we get there." He tried to sound has calm as possible. :Hurry!" Erica shouted before hanging up. She threw her phone down and got up pacing. She didn't care about Keeleigh anymore and she didn't care what she would do. She didn't care if keeleigh or her or both of them went to jail in that moment. All Erica cared about was setting herself free and telling the truth.
