Hi! My name is Bella Jewel and I am one happy dog. I found a family that loves me even though I'm not perfect, but then again, who is? At least that's what my owner, Karen, says and I have to agree. I was a Christmas gift to Karen and I've been a part of this family for 2 years. Yep, I'm 2 years old. I have a 'big brother' named Pepe who was rescued from a bad family who didn't love him. I love aggravating him and when he plays with me, its even more fun! My momma calls me her 'cuddle baby' and I am, really. I love going around the house and saying 'hi' to everyone. Sometimes, my mommy talks to me and I listen to her. I can tell when she's sad or doesn't feel well so I try to comfort her as much as possible. My favorite place to rest is on my mommy's shoulder and appearantly, mommy doesn't mind because she always puts me there. When I was a puppy, I had a lot of seizures and it scared my mommy. She would NOT leave my sight and that was okay with me because I knew she loved me. Karen says one of the cutest thing about me is when I bark in my sleep. I never knew I did that until she asked me, "What do you bark at in your sleep, girl?" I just looked at her cause, honestly, I had no idea that I did that. The house I live in with my family has wood living room flooring and it's hard to get a good grip to run or even walk sometimes. Once, I couldn't stop and slammed into a wall. Karen was worried about me but I was okay. I love my family because they are just amazing. One thing I don't like is when I have to get my hair brushed. Most of the time, I try to run or get out of my mommy's arms, but it never works, really. I'm just stubborn and don't like to give up easily. My mommy's brother calls me a 'rat' but she says I'm not and, frankly I agree with her! I mean, come one! What rat is this cute?! I can be a troublemaker but for the most part, I'm a good puppy. I am honestly very glad to be in this family. I'm a lucky dog and I love my family very much! I wish every dog could have an awesome family like I do! If you do have a dog, make them feel like part of your family, cause really, we are. We wanna be loved , too.
