*Alex POV*
Today is one of my last days before my family and I move back to California.
I am woken up by the sound of my alarm from my phone. I groan in annoyance as I look at the time and it's 5:55am. Sleepily, I turn my alarm off, turn around and go back to sleep. This is my usual routine, but I always regret it because I'm almost always late and have to rush around.
My house is about an hour away from my school and I have to get three buses just to get there. My mum always tells me to just move schools so I don't have to travel so far, but I always tell her I don't want to because my best friend Lexi is at that school.
Lexi is one of the prettiest girls in school, with her long brown hair, and sparkly blue eyes. She's about 5'5, and has tanned skin like me.
Me and Lexi are as close as can be. We've been friends since I moved here. She's more like a sister than a friend. We do everything together. She's the type of person that I can call up at 3 in the morning, tell her i want to go climb a tree and she'll be there without question. She's that one friend you can count on to be there, but she's also one of the sassiest people you'll ever meet.
That's why we go together so well. She's the sassy one and I'm the sarcastic one. That's the perfect combo if I do say so myself.
