All was quiet at the Phantomhive Manor this early afternoon. Too quiet.
Being the demon I am I know that something was stirring up. Whether that being another case from the queen or a personal problem for my young master. I have grown accustomed to the dangers young master has, I can only expect problems to accrue 24/7.
For the time being however, I will enjoy the quiet...
"SEBASTIAN!!!" Mi-Rin yells, I turn from the dishes I was polishing for the third time today to look at the clumsy maid. "THERE WAS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR!!!" As she runs to me she trips on a small bump in the carpet.
I lazily run to her and catch her as usual. I have a firm hold on her waist and forearm.
"Honestly," I sigh, "will you ever learn to walk?" I look down at the short girls face. She was more red than master's face when Lady Elizabeth, made him wear a pink too-too and bow.
"Oh I'm sorry Sebastian!!" She yells.
"Now, what was that about a knock on the door?" I ask in my intimidating voice whilst slowly letting go of the redhead's waist and arm.
"There was a little quiet knock on the door! Yes there was!" She exclaims.
"Right." I say annoyed.
I lightly push her aside and walk a in the corridor that takes me out of the servant area and leads me to another hallway that then goes to the stairs by the entrance.
We really need to renovate the hallway's wallpaper, I'll put that on my to-do list.
As I make my way down the long stairs I hear the other servants talking along with a quite bored voice. 'reminds me of young master' I think to myself. Whenever he talked like that it was because he wasn't getting what he wanted, usually during missions. Is she on a mission?
"Oi! Sebastian!" Finny yells happily, "We got a visiter!" I walk down the rest of the stairs and see a girl. She looks around twelve or thirteen, she has blue-ish hair and dark blue eyes much like the young master's. The resemblance between the two is uncanny. You would almost think they're...
"She's pretty cute!!" Our dangerous chef comments.
"Thank you." The Master look alike says. She smooths out the top part of her dress. It is all black the top part tight, long sleeved with ruffles at the bottom and the skirt part is mid thigh length in the front but in the back it goes down to the floor.
"I know this may sound like an odd thing to say but, I have nothing else left to try." She says slowly.
She interests me just as much as the young master does. Something about her soul.
"Please continue." I say warmly.
"I have no memory of my past." She states bluntly, "The only clue as to who I was or am is Ciel Phantomhive."
I give her a questioning look and wait for her to explain more, but she doesn't.
"Right this way young lady." I say as I stand and bow holding out my hand for her to take it.
She takes my hand with a hesitant look in her eyes as I pull her up the the stairs.
"What made you believe me so quickly Sebastian sir?" She says, letting go of my hand watching where I'm walking.
"Please," I say in a slow voice, "I am merely a low class servant, calling me 'sir' will not be necessary."
She mumbles something under her breath saying something like, 'trying to avoid my question Sebastian?'
"Not avoid, just simply ignore!"I say with a smile.
"Huh," She says with a smirk on her face, "Thought so."
"You're not talking about the question are you?"
"Nope."
We walk in a comfortable silence for a little bit. Once we reach the door I can tell the girl is nervous but she looks confident enough to fool a human.
"Well here is the masters study." I say while I open up the large wooden doors. Inside just as I expected was an annoyed master with papers all over his desk.
"What the hell to do you think you're doing, Sebastian!?!" He yells at me not noticing the blue haired girl beside me.
"I'm terribly sorry, young Lord." I say with a bow, "But we have a visitor."
"I wasn't expe-" He starts only to be interrupted by the girl.
"I am truly sorry for coming here unexpected," She says with a clear and assertive voice, "but you Ciel Phantomhive are my only solid clue."
"What do you mean I'm 'you're only clue'?" He asks with an interested tone in his voice and slight arch of an eyebrow on his stoic face.
"Do you mind if I take a seat? This might take awhile."
