"Mother I don't understand why I have to attend this "Mate Game" ", Lydiana said annoyed that her mother is making her attend the petty "game" of fate. "Lydiana you know this is your best chance at finding your mate. You will be taking over the kingdom soon." Lydiana's mother said to her. "Plus I have already signed you up, so you must attend." She added.

"Are you serious? Why have you signed me up without my permission? And then tell me the DAY of the event?!" She said angrily. "I'm sorry Lydia I should have told you sooner but this is really important for you to do." She said, her voice having a sad undertone.

"Alright mother. I'll do it." Lydia said smiling slightly at her. She hugged her daughter and smiled.

"I love you darling. You will meet your wonderful mate, I'm sure she'll be lovely!" She said happily. She smiled sadly and said, "It probably won't be a woman, it's rare you know unfortunately." She smiled and said, "We'll see my love. Now get dressed we leave in an hour." Lydiana nodded solemnly and ran to her room to get dressed. Lydiana walked downstairs after she had got dressed to where her mother was waiting for her patiently.

"All ready?" She asked grinning at her choice of clothing which consisted of a neat royal blue sweater and black skinny pants.

"Yes mother I am ready." she said smirking lightly.

They headed out to our sleek black range rover drove by their driver Edison. They took the long drive to Renegade Forest where the Mate Game was always held. This forest was giant and surrounded by powerful witch magic so that our powers were neutralized for the time being. They got out of the car and walked up to the entrance of the forest and down the trail to a little building to sign Lydiana in. Everyone inside of the facility looked at Lydiana and her mother as they walked in. People bowing in respect.

"Queen Fae, Princess Lydiana welcome." A woman with red hair said to them.

"We are looking to sign Lydia here in for the Mate Game." Her mother said firmly. The woman nodded and typed into the computer.

"Alright, you're all set just exit through that door into the woods. Good luck in finding your mate Princess." The woman said smiling.

Her mother pulled her to the side and hugged her then said, "Oh my love good luck, I love you." she nodded and hugged her back and then walked to the door leading into the woods. Lydia walked outside and was surrounded by the beautiful site of nature. Here goes nothing. She thought to herself as she walked further into the forest.
