I feel like one of the best and worst things about poetry is through the beauty of it, readers gain insight into the author's life.  I'm writing these because I believe that letters can be a certain type of poetry if the author intends for it.  These letters are more raw and reveal more about me than my poetry ever will, but even if the person they're meant for never sees them, I don't want to be the only one who ever reads them.

I'm really not sure how this is going to work out. I feel like a book of letters that do not form a cohesive story (although they do form some story) is a little odd and risky but I'm still trying to find what works for me as a writer, and I'm hoping this works well!

I think I'll split the book into three sections (with what I've written so far, they'll probably be "Letters to You," "Letters to Someone New," and "Letters to Me").

So enjoy, and please let me know if you like it!
