Prologue
Leaving the one that is made for you, your other half, and just the love of your life is never easy, but not being able to say goodbye is even worse. Not being able to tell Dmitri why I wouldn't see him again. To tell him to forget about me and move on and have a normal life. Most of all, I didn't get to look into his gorgeous eyes and tell him how much I loved him. I never believed the saying 'History repeats itself', but I was proved wrong. I never thought the past would come and destroy the present, but there's reality for you. My parents always warned me about the dangers of the world. I never believed them until the day that everything changed. My everything was just falling to pieces...
