*1 week later*
As I lay in my bed, still eating the same horrible food, I wondered what my life would be like if I hadn't been in this accident. I still had no idea what happened that night, and I wasn't getting answers any time soon. I suddenly hear a knock at the door. "Hello is this y/n y/l/n's room?", asked a policeman. "Yes, yes it is", answered the nurse. "I'm constable Dean and this is officer Thompson. We just have a few questions regarding the night of your accident." "Okay, sure." I said. The two policemen picked up two chairs and placed them beside my hospital bed. They sat down and each took out a notepad and pen. "Okay, so we're obviously aware of your current state, and the whole memory loss situation, but we're going to try and get as much information as we can." I nodded in response. "Okay so what do you already know about the night of your accident?". "I don't really know much other than the fact that it was a car accident." "Do you know what kind of car accident it was?". "Well I assumed that I was in a car crash", I responded. "Well actually it was a hit and run, you were hit by a car." I didn't know what to think at this point. "Your parents didn't tell you?" the cop asked. "No, no one has told me anything." I was partly mad at my parents, for not telling me, and partly mad at myself, for not being able to remember. "Okay well since it seems like you know less than us, we will tell you what we know." I nodded. "Okay, so it was roughly 12am when you were found by a friend of yours, you were on the side of the road, unconscious. They called the police and an ambulance. Based on your injuries and witness's descriptions, we've come to the conclusion that it was, as we said before, a hit and run", the policeman explained. "What was the name of my friend who found me?", I asked. The cop looked through some papers and finally said "Your friend Chris Lanzon".
