A Nerd to a Bad Ass

" Mom hurry up! We're already late! "

You're probably wondering why I am yelling. Well I'm late for school. And I am never late! I'm Ema and I'm the "nerd" of the school. And if I'm late there will be no witnesses for the horror that will happen.

I get to school and the bell rings. I ran as fast as I could to my class and then was pushed. I crashed into a locker and my books fell everywhere.

" where you headed brat!" I looked up to see one of the popular girls ,Crystal, look at me in disgust. " Eww! Why would you wear such disgusting clothes!" I looked down and I was just wearing a blue tee and jeans.

She rips my shirt in half.

" What the hell is wrong with you!" She slaps me. " Looks like the bitch can speak." I hear them laugh. They take my shirt and rip the pages out of my book. She goes close up to my face ans say," Don't forget bitches get stitches. And wear something better next time." She laughs and walks away.

I sat there trying not to cry when I heard foot steps coming. I looked up and saw my best friend Kara walk up and handed me a shirt.

" I thought you would be late so I brought clothes just in case." I smiled at her. " Thanks." She helped me up and picked up the book I almost finished but couldn't since the pages were ripped out. " I was going to the restroom when I heard the girls laughing. I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner!" She looked so sad. " You couldn't have done anything anyways. you know how these girls are.

I got up and headed to the office for a late pass then headed to class. I walk in and Mr. Burkley looked at me with disappointment. " Glad you could join us Ms. Evans." I took my seat as I heard whispers and laughter. Everyone didn't like me because I was the teacher's pet.

" Nerd" I heard someone cough/ yell. Shortly followed by laughter.

I took my seat and slowly class after class went by and it was time for lunch. I took my lunch and sat on the usual table where all the trash would be thrown away.

The girls walked over to us and through the trash all over our table and on me. " Oops. Sorry." She laughed and walked away. School was a drag and waited and waited. When the final bell rang I ran for the exit and headed to my brother's car that was waiting for me.

" Hey sis. How was school? And why do you smell like trash?" I looked down and told him everything that happened. " That's it i'm done with this. You are going to live with me and you're going to the private school up state!" I looked at him shocked. " What? Derick! What about mom? And my own room?" He looked at me and smile. " I'll convince mom. You will have your own room and I will teach you how to drive and get you your own car. Oh did I mention my brother is the executive producer of Starstruck records? So he's pretty rich.

" THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I CANT WAIT!" I get home and he talks to my mom and I hear yelling and arguing then crying. I walk down stairs and look at my mom. " Mom? Are you okay?" She looks up with sadness. " oh baby why didn't you tell me? I'm so sorry! Please forgive me and I'm going to miss you!" I look at her and say, " Its okay mom and I live you. Wait does this mean I can go?" She smiles and nods. " Oh Thank you mom!! I love you and I forgive you. plus its not your fault. okay ima go pack!!" I run upstairs and packed my thing! omg I'm so excited! This is the best day ever.

I called Kara and explained everything. She was sad but she understood. I felt bad that I was leaving her but I had to. By the time I finished packing it was already two in the morning so I took a quick shower and went to bed. I can't wait until morning!
