Surviving earth

Its hard being the new kid. No one talks to you. This is even worst , im not from here. In not from earth. I am an alien from a planet far away from earth called avèlan. I was sent here in a group of five to see if we can survive. They are sending groups of five every ten years because our planet is slowly dying out.

No human can know our secret or else we will have to move to a different place on earth. Its not as fun as you think, you make friends and you actually can feel normal for once but if they find out your secret you will never see them ever again.

My name is Izzy its short for Izabellith, but on earth its short Izabella. I get called iz or izzy by people i know. We moved here to Chicago about a month ago. We live in a house by the lake in a forest.

The other four that came with me are considered my siblings. We vary in age , im fifteen years old. The youngest is Emily she is ten years old. Second is Cameron he is twelve, three years younger than me, im in third. Fourth is Ryan he is sixteen. The fifth is Tony he is what on earth you would call our "guardian" because he is twenty-one. We aren't related but we are close enough to be.

We will live here as long as we can without being discovered. We will try to blend in but that wont be as easy as i always hear. We have to survive on earth.
