Surviving earth-chapter:9

I meet up with Lily at lunch. I sit down next to her and she begins to ask many many questions about who i am and where i have come from. It funny that no one has asked me where I'm from because i have a strong accent that sounds Scottish to humans.

"So do you speak a different language?" She asks with her mouth full.

"Yeah, my siblings, er, i mean friends can speak it too."

"Wow really is that why you have a Scottish accent?" Yep there we go. I knew she was gonna mention it at some point.

" well actually its not scottish, i speak Avèlans language fluently so of course i have an accent, and humans think its Scottish but i think its more of an italian Scottish mix." I say taking bite of my food.

"So you guys eat 'human' food?" She says putting air quotas around the word 'human'.

"Yeah, were just like humans but we have powers and cool accents." I say mocking her about how she likes my accent.

"What powers do you have?"

" well lets see we all have advanced senses and i have antigravity, telekinesis, night vision and i can transfer powers to humans, which is basically useless." I say and a big smile forms across her face.

"No, not a chance." I say. "No one knows that you know, so dont even mention it to Ryan or anyone." I say looking at her.

"So Ryan doesn't even know that i know?"

" pretty much and if Tony knows that you know then we will have to pack up our stuff and move away."

"Wait really?" She asks looking sad.

"Yes really, so its only between you and me, ok?"

"Yes i promise." She says and we continue to our meals.

Its gym class and we play softball. I suck at softball and i think everyone already knows that. Im on a team with Ryan and lily, the only people i really know. Amy and Cody are on the other team which sucks because they both hate us, or i know that Amy does. Were blue team and they are red team.

I walk up to Ryan and Lily.

"Were gonna kick some ass." I say smiling.

"Hey! No cussing!" Ryan says. I roll my eyes. Lily laughs.

"Well we are and were gonna own it!" I almost yell and Amy walks up to us.

"Were going to win this thing you know that right?" She says.

"You know that we are going to kick your ass right?" I say and feel Ryans eyes on me.

"Yeah right good luck." She says then walks away.

When the game starts Lily goes first and hits the ball and runs to first base. Im fourth and i pick up the bat and get ready to hit.

"Loser!" Amy yells and i see Cody look at her to tell her to shut up. Thats weird. I feel a little mad and i want to win so bad now. Cody pitches the ball and i hit it to become a home run and my whole class cheers. We made three points to total up to four points. I walk by Amy and i can see that she is angry. "That was awesome!" Lily says to me.

"Well thats what happens when someone pisses me off!"

"That was pretty cool but not so hard next time, you don't want to get people getting suspicious." He says and i roll my eyes and keep walking. He stops me and whispers to me.

"But i never said that you couldn't win." He says and we both laugh. I pitch the ball. I throw easy for everyone but then Amy walks up to bat. I dont throw it as hard as i can but i throw it hard. Probably about 90 miles per hour. She misses and looks embarrassed.

" that was great!" The coach yells to me. I throw it again around the same speed. She hits it but not very good and runs to first base. We end up getting her out at 3rd base.

Heyy guys! So its 4th of july and yes i have wrote this in advanced so its probably going to be like the 17th or so before i publish this! And i have writin the rest of the book and i sorry if the chapters get pretty short, but i update almost everyday!
