Morning at the Trancy Manor

My first thought as I woke, 'pain....Alois taught me the feeling. It isn't nice.' I think to myself as I sit up, placing my hand on my stomach.

"Lady Ria, how are you? You took a direct hit from Sebastian Michaelis, shocking that he would hurt such a fragile angel. Then again, you shouldn't trust any demons but those from the Trancy manor and even then you come to me first." I blink at Claude's voice.

"I'm sorry Mr. Claude, was I supposed to be listening?" I ask curiously and he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Never mind Lady Ria, I'll go get his highness." I nod in response to his statement and he leaves.

Placing pressure on my stomach, I find that the wound is closed but is still rather sore. 'Strange....I've felt this pain before. From where though?' Trying to search my mind for answers, I don't hear Alois' loud voice until it is right next to me.

"Ria!" He giggled and tackled me in a hug, I feel pain but know better than to push him away. "You're so stupid! You could've killed stupid Sebastian and you didn't!" He scolded angrily. He slapped me and I nodded, "I'm sorry Alois....he had hurt me before I could do anything."

His eyes go dark with anger, "what did I tell you about excuses Ria?" My eyes widen, "I'm sorry Alois." I quickly apologize. He rolls his eyes and gets off me. "Whatever, just know you'll be sleeping on the floor from now until I decide otherwise." I nod, accepting the punishment.

He skips to the door. "Get dressed Ria and come eat breakfast with me." He smirked and I nodded. "Yes sir." He smiles before skipping out the room, yelling some strange word he is constantly using.

Hannah enters and I smile, "hello Hannah." I greet and she returns my smile, "hello Ria. How are you?" She asks softly, beginning to undress me. I shrug slightly, "I'm okay. Alois just corrected me is all. I'll be fine when he's happy once more." I promised.

She nodded and grabbed a girdle, tying it up around me before dressing me. I thank her and she bows before leading me out the room. "Ria~!" I hear Alois' squeal before I am tackled to the ground. "Yes Alois?" I ask and look up at him since he straddles my waist.

He just grins and leans close to my face before suddenly pulling away and giggling. "Nothing~! Nothing at all~! Come eat with me!" He grabs my hand, dragging me off the floor. I feel a slight pop in my wrist but ignore it, I can't be bothered with pain and ruining Alois' mood with my complaining.

Alois leads me to the dining room and orders me to take a seat, doing so I smile a little. "How is your morning going Alois?" He sends me a bored look and shrugs, "it was pretty boring considering I had to wait for you to wake up. You're a bloody burden." He states and rolls his eyes. I frown slightly, burden? I suppose it's okay to say that since I am staying with him, he has to be troubled with me at times.

I start to eat calmly, staying quiet. I know Alois' mood could change at any moment. He doesn't pay attention to me though and calls Hannah, who simply stands beside him without meeting his gaze.
