The New Guy in Town

Chapter 1:

"Ughhh...why?" I say to my ringing alarm clock that is hurting my ears. When I look at the time it is only 7 in the morning. Then my phone decides to join the ringing party that my alarm clock is obviously having. I hit the snooze button and answer my phone.

"Hello?!" I say extremely annoyed into the phone. "Ann? What's wrong? If you didn't want to go to breakfast with me you could have just said so!" My long time best friend Kate says clearly hurt into the phone. "Oh! Kate! I am so sorry! It is just my alarm clock started and then my phone started and...ugh...i am just sorry." I say embarrassed into the phone.

"Haha! Ann, only you would get mad at inanimate objects for doing what they are programed to do." Kate says laughing. "Anyways Ann! I am going to pick you up at 8 so we can go to breakfast and then i will take you to school since it doesn't start until 9:15." "But why aren't you going to school? It is our last day as Seniors!" "I know that's why! Nobody else is going to be there! So could you skip school with me?" Kate asked. "No! Of course not!" I said very surprised that Kate had even said that.

"I knew you would say that! Anyways I will be at your house in a hour! Love you Ann! Bye!" Kate said while making a kissing sound after saying bye. "Bye." I said while making the sound back and hanging up. I put my phone down on the nightsand and i climbed out of bed and walked over to my closet. "Hmm..what to wear? What to wear?" I asked myself while looking around inside my closet.

"Oh yes! This is perfect!" I said while grabbing my new red dress that i had bought yesterday afternoon. I also grabbed my black sparkly heels, my red strappless bra, and my red lace boy shorts. I ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower. The water warmed up instantly and when i jumped in i got chills down my spine from the warm water hitting my body.

"Okay...hmmm..PERFECT!" I say while tucking the last piece of my curled hair behind my ear. I slipped my feet into my heels and looked at my phone. "No Messages." I said sighing. Then all the suddend the doorbell started ringing. "Coming!" I screamed as I took a last glance in the mirror. The doorbell started ringing again. "Kate! I SAID I WAS COMING! Gosh! Go ahead and break my doorbell, why dontcha!" I yelled as I run down the wodden stairs.

When I opened the door it was surprisingly not Kate. It was a tall curly brown haired boy with the prettiest emerald green eyes I have ever seen. "Woah..." I said to myself. He l looked me up and down and then cleared his throat.
