But now you run no more.

You were laughing,
But now all sounds are gone.
Only silence and emptiness burying my heart.
My TEARS,
They blurred the face of the doll,
Which you gave to me.
And in those brown eyes, I see your face.
You smile once more.
That's all I need, your face to see,
But behind those happy memories,
lies the despairing goodbye.
I still hear those sweet names,
Like a soft summer breeze,
Whispering gently in my ears.
But I also hear the echo of the goodbye,
The LAST goodbye,
When you turned to go into the sky!
That was it, that was our last cry!
I didn't know than, I still don't know,
What happened? Where did you go?
The memory, the fear,
It's all still there.
But I need you,
I need you now,
I need you by my side,
Because my hearts alone,
Empty and turned to stone.
I need you to soften it.
I need you here,
But when I look into the dolls eyes,
I know you aren't here.
Those 6 years we spent together,
Laughing,
Living,
Loving,
Having a good time,
All those memories will linger in my heart, thoughts, soul,
Because having to know you for those 6 years was the best thing that ever happened to me in my life!
6 years, the time was far too short,
But that's all we had and that's all we ever will,
And In those few memories,
You will forever dwell!
