Kylo Ren's P.O.V.

I stood with my back to the door. I needed a place to find peace. This struggle, this pain I feel when I let my train of thought wander towards home... I was angry. How could they abandon me like they did? I did not belong at home. I did not have a true home. Mother and father had left me, Uncle did not understand me, but master Snoke did. He knew the power I craved. He knew what I needed.

"Uhhtmm." An officer cleared his throat in the doorway. "Sir?"

I didn't turn around, but kept my rigged composure.

"I have news on the Jedi women, sir."

"What." I spoke.

"She.. uh..." There was a trembling in his voice. "She has been thoroughly interrogated for information."

"AND?" I commanded.

"And... shhh-she... she did not survive the methods that were used upon h –"

I quietly turned to see the face of the officer. Sucking in a lung full of air, "HOW!" I slowly roared. "How could they let her die! Snoke wanted her alive! He wanted me to watcher her!" I drew my lightsaber and couldn't keep my anger in. Slashing and crashing my blade against the control panels, utterly rendering them destroyed and useless. I blew my raging hot steam. The metal was bright hot and in a tangled heap of pathetic mess.

"ANYTHING ELSE." I growled.

"We gained no new inform –" he began until I cut him off, Using the force to pull him into my grip around his neck. He was choking and struggling like a useless animal. Pathetic.

"WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ACTION!" I pulled him to my face.
"I.." He struggled to say.

I released him and stormed out of the room. Where was General Hux! HE gave the order. HE was there. He was overseeing her torture. That fool! I told him Snoke wanted her alive! He will PAY!

I entered the command bridge where General Hux was standing, overlooking the command post and the computers below. Captain Phasma was present, leisurely leaning against a post with her arms crossed.

"HUX!" I fumed as I walked right to him. He turned and looked at me with his usual unemotional expression. I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him close. "HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!" I shouted. "Snoke wanted her alive. Do you not know what that means? Do I have to be on your heels every time I give you a command!"

General Hux let out a huff as he stood his ground, with his lips trembling in fear. "I was ordered to extract information out of her. And... those are the consequences of our methods. Do YOU not know what that means?" He hissed.

Captain Phasma rushed and pealed us apart, keeping me from tearing Hux's head right from his shoulders. I shook Captain Phasma's grip from my shoulder off and stepped back. I narrowed my eyes at General Hux. There was something under his words I could not quite put my finger on, but it was sinister and dishonest. I could feel he was lying. I wanted to see her body for myself.

"Where is she. Where is her body?" I pressed.

"Gone." Hux blurted too quickly for comfort.

I shook my head and stepped forward. General Hux rightfully distanced himself from me. He took hold of the railing behind him to steady himself.

"We removed her corpse from the containment unit and disposed of it. All of her belongings along with her."

"You will PAY for this." I growled again. There was nothing to be done. She was gone. That fool. THAT FOOL. I was furious with his stupidity! Livid! What will Snoke say once he hears of the death of this powerful Jedi? She was powerful. There is no way she could have died under the torture tactics used. Perhaps she was not as strong as she let us all believe. Weakling. That stupid girl.

I went to the only place I could truly be alone.

The door slid open when I approached. I cleared my head and licked my chapped lips. I sat on the chair and let my shoulders drop. I reached up and released my helmet and tossed it on the ground. I felt drained. I looked to the pedestal with the disfigured helmet and silently begged for guidance on how to handle General Hux's recklessness.

His foolishness!

His stupidity!

I could have used her under me. She could have been an apprentice in the ways of the Darkside. All of that was now ruined.

I shook the thought of having her as an underling. Hiding that from Master Snoke would be impossible. Snoke was too wise and too powerful to not be able to see through those ulterior motives. I looked to the helmet again.

"I am struggling. What am I to do... Grandfather."
