Jade's POV

As Nate parked the car I got out slowly, he followed me to the ward and a

"I will wait here and you go inside and talk to your mum." Nate spoke sending me a smile.

"No you come in to its about time you find out what exactly happened." I reply sending the smile back. He nods in reply.

I turn to walk in when I see 3 doctors coming out of her room. Please don't tell me he came.

"Is is everything ok doctor." I stutter.

"Oh Miss Carter someone just left from meeting your mother, and disconnected your mothers breathing machine, thankfully we made it on time and connected it back on the right moment." The doctor complains.

Fucking James came here.

"Um thank you for reaching on time." I tell them in appreciation.

I walk into her room and sat besides her.

"Hello darling." She says surprised seeing me without telling her.

"Why didn't you tell me mum." I start off rage filling inside of me.

"Tell you what dear." She asked confused.

"That you met James the day you had the accident, he came over today mom he begged me to go back to him but when I refused he slapped me, he even told me that he knocked you over." I finish my voice cracking at the end.

My mom was surprised, taken back of the news. Slowly tears start to form in her eyes with guilt.

"I am sorry baby, I didn't know James would stoop so low, he was annoying, he was testing my patience so I shouted. But Jade why did you let him in the house." She questions.

" I didn't, I don't know how he made it through we never open the backdoor." I answered trying to figure it out myself.

"The worst thing he did is that he just came into your ward when you were sleeping and disconnected you breathing tube. Thank doctors were coming to check on up you at that time." I finished the conversation there and kissed her good bye, after that I went to the main desk and asked for security near my mums ward as there is danger.

I walked out with Nate who hasn't said a word since we were inside. I sat in the car and put on my seat belt when I got a text alert.

Zoe:
sorry got to go home, I will come tmmrw I promise, take care and sammy and the jacks have gone. Xxxx😘😘

I turn to look at Nate who is still staring.

"Do you mind filling me I am damn confused right now." He confesses.

I let out a small laugh." Sure come to mine and I will explain everything, its not that simple."

"Sure." He responds before driving to mine.

Man this is gonna be a long evening. But to be honest it will be worth it because Nate has done a lot for me and I think I Should tell him what has been going on he deserves to know.
