Prologue
"It was only one time! I'm sorry babe please forgive me" Austin begged. I still couldn't believe it, I loved him how could he just cheat on me after two fucking years! And to make things worse he fucked my best friend! But I guess it's my fault he was the popular boy of the school and I was a nobody I knew better than to get involved, but I did. I couldn't give him what he wanted, I wasn't enough.
"No Austin, I can't forgive you. You may have cheated once, but you should've never done it in the first place. And you always treat me like crap! Constantly flirting with our girls not to mention MY BEST FRIEND! IM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU WALKING ALL OVER ME BECAUSE YOU THINK I WILL FORGIVE AND I GUESS IT'S MY FAULT BECAUSE I ALWAYS DO! BUT NOT THIS TIME, AUSTIN, ... not this time." I whispered the last part, tears threatening to spill but I wasn't giving him the satisfaction of watching me cry over him.
"Fine, you could never give me what those girls could." He spit cruelly. I let the tears fall slowly and silently as his words repeated in my head, he was right. I couldn't. I wasn't enough, I wasn't pretty enough, I wasn't skinny enough, I didn't fit in with his image. PERIOD.
He turned around without even a second glance and walked away, he walked away from me, from us. I just threw away two years of my life with some arsehole.
Why did love always end up badly for me?
I trudged home and collapsed on the couch not even bothered to clime the stairs to my room. I kicked off my shoes and tried to get some sleep even though it was only 7:00 in the afternoon, I had a long day and my dad would be home late anyways.
I let darkness consume me, clearing me of my thoughts but not before I came to the decision that I was done.
Done with boys, and done with love
