After a long session of watching Frisk sleep in her little basket, Mettaton quietly tiptoed out of his bedroom, being careful not to awake his sleeping child. Once he stepped into the hallway, Mettaton slowly grasped the door knob and closed the door. He sighed silently and walked down the stairs, with certain thoughts going through his mind.

Light snow fell from the sky, creating a nice scenery for anyone who were to look outside. Unfortunately, a certain robot wasn't really focusing on that matter. He had something else on his mind.

Mettaton kept pacing around the living room while Frisk was away sleeping in his and Papyrus' room. Papyrus, in the kitchen, drew very curious about his lover. He then dropped his wooden spoon into his huge pot of spaghetti and walked over to Mettaton, stoping him in his tracks.

"Nyeh, Mettaton! Is something wrong?" Papyrus had a smile spread across his face, but he could tell something was up. Mettaton only groaned and gazed down at the floor, soon returning his line of sight to Papyrus.

"Oh darling...I'm just worried. No, that's not the right word. I'm honestly having second thoughts about the whole child thing..." He looked down at the floor again and frowned.

Papyrus couldn't believe what he was hearing. It was utterly ridiculous.

"Nyeh?! Why?!" He asked, completely shocked.

Mettaton quickly shushed him and sat down, twiddling his metal fingers.

"Quiet dear, she might hear you...Now, as I was saying, I've been thinking about the whole thing since she went to sleep. For example, when she grows up, what is she going to think about everyone? We're all monsters down here. Well, apart from the robots like me," he chuckled slightly, "but what if Frisk gets scared of everyone and everything? She'll probably think she's an outcast or something. O-Or maybe that everyone is abnormal." Mettaton explained.

"Well, like you mentioned, she is growing up down here. This will all be normal. Plus, if she has any questions, we can just tell her about how she ended up here." Papyrus stated.

Mettaton smiled, but immediately went back into a concerned state.

"Yes, but I'm also concerned about other matters as well," He sighed as he lied back into the couch, "For instance, we can't have her living in our room all the time."

Papyrus curiously began questioning Mettaton.

"Why not?"

Mettaton blushed slightly, but then confessed.

"Because maybe...sometimes...we may do certain things that the little one shouldn't hear...~"

Papyrus' skull turned a bright shade of red as he understood what Mettaton said.

((HE'S A SKELETON SO I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE HIM BLUSH. WORK WITH ME HERE-))

"W-Well then..." Papyrus stuttered, blushing like crazy, "I-I guess we can find some s-space...h-how about that r-room we never use at the end of the hall?"

Mettaton was wondering what he was talking about for a minute, then he suddenly remembered.

"Ah! Of course! Why didn't we think of this sooner? This is perfect!" Mettaton exclaimed, hugging his lover.

Papyrus smiled, feeling slightly relieved and glad that he solved a problem for once, instead of causing it.
