The Torment

  The definition of a mate is something very few men chose to acknowledge now-a-days. To men a mate is a breeder or just some trophy to show off and relieve stress with. But to me my mate is my world, she calms me she makes everything better. When she looks at me I feel as if there is nothing that can make anything go wrong. We have had a rocky beginning then again what mating is perfect? The first time I saw her was on December 28, 1888. She was the only other wolf I smelled in the area. It was a human settlement and wolves were further to the South. I was here on business. Any wolf on this side of the state would be just crazy, these humans were superstitious. She was walking with a woman holding onto her tightly. Now that I was watching her more closely I realized how young she was. She looked about fifteen. She was so young. Almost like child. I am twenty-three. Almost a ten year gap.

 She was dragged until I couldn't see her anymore. I immediately followed. How could I not? She was my mate. I would bring her back to the South to rule as my Queen. The other wolves of the world would finally have a Queen to look towards. 

 My family has been the Royal Line for ages, since the first wolves lived. But recently I have been in meeting with my councils and it has been decided that there will no longer be only one Alpha. As the Alpha of the world, it is now come to my attention that I cannot be the only ruler to be in charge of every wolf in the world. I say this now because some of my wolves were caught taking advantage of their strength with weak young human ladies. I shall now have to enforced the Death Penalty for the rape of young women. I must know that these laws are being enforced everywhere therefore I will set up one in charge of a group of wolves. They shall now be Alpha's. I will now become the Alpha King and my mate the Luna Queen.
