Coming home from school I see one of those uhaul moving trucks parked across the street from my house. And I know for sure no one has lived in that house for a good old two years, so there obviously must be some people moving in. I hope their not stuck up like the last ones, I thought to myself as I entered my house.

But before I could even enter all the way my sister blasted me with her excitement.

"Aye! Kenya, you seen the new neighbors?" She asks me waiting for an answer.

"Nah, why? They ratchet or something? " I ask hoping they weren't. 

"No they straight." She says with a smile. "But grandma said you have to say hi to them and give them these cookies as a welcoming gift." She adds while handing me a decorative bowl filled with cookies.

"Mannnnnn, what the hell! I really gotta do this?" I say rolling my eyes. "She knows I hate talking to people." I whined.

"Well to bad, you might like them. So go!" She yelled while running upstairs to her room.

I swear they do things to me on purpose just so I can suffer. I thought as I slowly made my way across the street to my new neighbors house. These people better be nice or some sh#t, cuz ion play that rudeness to kindly.
