I watched the trees pass by as my mother drove me to school. After few years of staying in California my mother thought it was time to come live with her childhood best friend. My mother told me she had a son that goes to the same school I going to. She told me his name just in case I bumped into him a school. When we pulled into the parking lot I leaned over and gave my mother a kiss on the cheek.

"Have a good day." she said with a smile. I nodded and grabbed my backpack while stepping out the car. I looked around to see a girl talking on the phone.

"Mom three calls for my first day is a little over doing...Everything except a pen, oh my god I actually forgot a pen! Okay okay, I gotta go, love you." she said. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Catherine Prescott and I'm new, you must be new too." I said. She looked at me surprised. I guess she is shocked by the fact that I knew she is knew.

"Yeah I'm actually is new here. My name is Alison Argent." she said holding her hand out. I placed my hand in hers and shook it. The principal came outside and escorted us into the building. It turns out we were both in the same classroom.

"Class, these are our new students, Allison Argent and Catherine Prescott. Please do your best to make them feel comfortable." The principal said before walking out. Allison sat behind a boy who had a crooked chin and I just sat behind her. The boy turned around and gave her a pen. She blushed and took the pen from him.

After class we walked to our lockers together and talked to each other. Our lockers was right next to mine. A girl walked up to Allison. "This jacket is totally killer. Where did you get it from?" she asked.

"My mom was a buyer in San Francisco." She replied. I noticed Allison looked a bit uncomfortable around her. "I'm Lydia and you are my new best friend." she said.

Thanks for noticing me. This boy walked up to Lydia and began to make out with her. I zoned out when they began to talk a bout a party. "You should come too." I looked up when he said that. I noticed that they was looking a me. "Um, I guess I can." I said confused. The boy winked at me and told me the address.

We were watching them on the field. I wasn't going to go but Allison begged me to. "Who is that?" Allison asked Lydia. Lydia tells her she don't know. When the coach blew the whistle the boy went unfocused until a ball hit him in the face. I giggled at him until he looked my way. After that he was doing pretty good. Lydia's boyfriend tried to scare him, but his plan did not work. We cheered for him as loud as we could.

It was night time and I felt this pain going through my body. Sweat start to drip down my face as I gasped for air. My hands gripped the sheets as I shook. I lifted myself of the bed to walk to the bathroom. I pulled my shirt up and looked in the mirror.

There were words on my chest. Those words said 60 seconds of Life. The world started to spin before I fell. Blackness began to surround my vision.
