It doesn't take long for Gally and Newt to take me to what they call the slammer, but when they do Gally just opens the door and leaves while Newt stays to explain what's happening.
"Your only here because Alby wants you in here, you shouldn't be here too long we're just going to have a gathering between the keepers to decide what we're going to do with you" Newt says.
I nod in reply, and he walks away.

I had been sitting there for about an hour before Newt comes back and let's me out.
"Welcome to the Glade, greenie, let's get you something to eat" he says, walking away waiting for me to follow.

Newt takes me to an area where lots of people are sitting, there are only boys so I guess I'm the only girl.
I follow Newt to where a darker skinned boy stands giving people food. He must be the main cook.
"You must be the greenie" the darker skinned boy says.
I don't know why but I hesitate before answering.
"Yeah, I would tell you my name but I don't remember it yet" I say to him.
In reply he says "well that's ok, my names Frypan".
At least I know his name now.

I follow Newt to a table where Alby, And an Asian guy are sitting.
"Minho, meet the new greenie" Newt says.
Minho looks up.
"What the shuck, it's a girl!" He yells but not quite loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Well I'm definitely not a guy am I?" I reply with a small grin.
He doesn't reply.

I didn't even realise I was still standing until I noticed Newt take a seat across from Alby.
'I should probably sit down' I thought to myself.

The room where we were eating was loud but our table was silent until Newt spoke up.
"Hell of a first day greenie, we're having a bonfire in your honour"
"Well I was in the slammer all day with nothing to do, so I guess you could class that as hell" I reply sarcastically, and Minho just laughs. I noticed Alby was no longer here.
I had finished my food not too long ago, I was just waiting for Newt, because I know him best, well I don't know him I've just spoken to him the most and he's nice, I also like Minho.
When Newt's finished he stands waiting for me to follow him to the bonfire.
"This is all for you" he says when we get there before walking off to get a drink.

I was alone because Newt walked off earlier and I can't find him.
I don't really enjoy large crowds so I look for somewhere to sit and it's a little further away from everyone else, it's a nice log.
I was sitting there for about five minutes looking at the fire just thinking, mostly about what my name is, until I'm started by someone standing beside me.
I look up and see that it's Minho.
"Hey" he says while sitting down with his back on the log like mine.
"Hey, you must be wondering why I'm over here right?" I say
He takes a minute to reply.
"No I just noticed your were alone so I thought I'd come over to say hi"
I didn't reply.
For a while Minho and I just sat there speaking to each other and watching everyone enjoy the bonfire, until he decided to go sit with what he called 'the runners'. What are they?
I sat alone for maybe a minute before Newt came over before he forced me to get up.
"Ok, I'm going to tell you all the jobs, and introduce you to some people"
"so we have the runners over there" he says pointing towards Minho. He must be a runner.
"And then we've got the builders, and our two med jacks, Clint and Jeff" he adds.
"Oh hey" they both say as we walk past them.
"Hey Newt, I want to be a runner" I say
He looks at me in shock.
"You don't get it, no one wants to be a runner, and besides you have to get chosen" he says, partially laughing.
Before I can ask him who by, I get pushed by a boy who was pushed onto me.
"What do you say greenie, wanna give it a go" Gally asks.
It doesn't even take a second for me to answer.
"Sure, just so I can beat your ass" I say.
He didn't like that one bit.
I step into the circle of sand.

"Don't go easy on me, Gally" I say to him. I hear shout from all the boys saying 'go easy on her Gally she just a shuck girl'
Gally looks at me and says "I don't plan to"
I have one foot infront of me and one behind me so I'm standing slightly sideways, and I tell Gally "Come and get me coz I'm ready"
He starts running at me and I dodge him by going under his arm, he falls into the crowd and they push him back in.
"I thought I told you not to go easy on me" I taunt, he just stares at me.
Him making the first move again runs at me, once again I go under but put my foot out to trip him, he falls flat on his face.
He gets up and we do the exact same thing and he falls on his face again, but this time I bend down next to him and say "yeah, you definitely went easy on me, thanks for the fight".
Everyone cheers because I beat Gally, not many people do but I did.
Gally stands up and walks to me, I still haven't left the circle, and he says "this is for embarrassing me" and he kicks one of my legs from under me.
I fall and hit my head... Hard.
Then it hits me.
I remember my name.
I stand up and shout "I remember my name!"
"It's Liz!" I shout again.
There's a moment of silence before Alby walks up to me and shouts "yeah Liz!"
"Welcome to the Glade" he adds.

Chapter 2 is finally up.
I had no idea how to write the fight scene and some parts are very similar from the movie but it will change for the next couple of chapters before Thomas comes up.
