Introduction to Me

Hey!

So I'm just gonna give you a brief introduction.

My name is Jonah, I'm 19 years old. I'm the only guy in my family, and I live with three sisters and my mom. No, this does not make me a girly boy. And no, it doesn't mean I'm a womanizer. It means I'm a feminist. I'm also Colombian but I live in Texas.

I am a Directioner, (thus, my username) and I discovered them around freshman year of high school when my twin sister introduced me to them. I started liking them and the rest is history.

AND NO I'M NOT A FAKE DIRECTIONER WHO PRETENDS TO LIKE THEM JUST TO GET GIRLS THOSE GUYS ANNOY THE HELL OUT OF ME DO NOT ASSUME I'M ONE OF THEM, THANKS.

Let me tell you a story of how I happened to join Wattpad.

Basically my girlfriend has been reading After for a pretty long time and she decided that she wanted to force me to read it too.

SO HERE I AM!

I've noticed that pretty much all Wattpad stories give wrong impressions and assumptions about guys. Not just from the girl's thought, but from the guy's point of view too. Although some readers are mature enough to understand that these works were written by GIRLS, meaning they do not have intact into a guy's mind, whether they have a brother, boyfriend, etc., I've seen younger readers (I'm not going to say the exact age because I don't want to offend anyone, so I'm just gonna say under 12 years of age) believing all these thoughts and using them in real life.

Yes, I've gotten messages from them before.

Yes, they were inspired by works on here.

Thanks a lot, My Wattpad Love. (Kidding, kidding, I like that book.)

Although they're great stories regardless, some do give the wrong impression about guys. And some of them teach things that guys don't really like. For example, if you call us manwhores, we will not be totally obsessed with making sure you fall for us or sleep with us.

Fuck no.

We'll be offended and pissed off and will probably never talk to you again. We might even get roasted for it by our friends.

Yeah.

Tough life when real life guys don't go after girls who call them manwhores. Whether it's true or not, it doesn't happen unfortunately.

So why am I writing this?

A lot of girls (not going to name them bc privacy) have asked me for advice and help on their stories and in their own personal issues. Here's a few questions similar to what I've been asked.

"Do you think that a guy ignoring a girl because his cat died is realistic?"

"Help, crush troubles."

"Why is this guy ignoring me?"

Why the hell am I always answering the same questions when I can literally tell all of you at once?

So yeah.

So here's how this is gonna work.

This is a place where I'm going to rant, give advice, maybe review books (I'm gonna regret this lol), answer questions, etc.

Got a question? MESSAGE ME! If I feel like I want to put it on here, I'll ask you first and then do it, answering it both on our messages and in the book, but I'll keep it anonymous.

Of course, if it's something really personal, you can always tell me that it's private. Don't feel like you're pissing me off, it's fine.

As for the book stuff:

I KNOW that people read books and write books to escape from reality, but the amount of times I've seen someone say "I'm trying to keep this realistic" outweighs the number of times I've seen someone say "This is fictional! This does not happen in real life."

So yeah.

If you don't know about me from comments, I'm kind of an ass sometimes.

I'm pretty argumentative and I can be sort of snappy if I'm offended or irritated.

SO I'M GOING TO TRY NOT TO DO THAT.

But if I do, please let me know, and I apologize in advance. :)

Now, for some things, I cannot speak for all guys and I apologize for that. I'm letting you know because this is VERY important to know. I'm going to talk about basic things that many guys can relate on but if it's something which is my personal opinion, I cannot say that every guy is like that. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE ANOTHER NASH GRIER VIDEO ABOUT WHAT GUYS LIKE.

Oh, I think I offended someone just now.

Oops.

Well ANYWAY, that's pretty much all I have to say.

Bye. :)
