Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot"
- Chris Colfer had originally auditioned for the Role of Artie Abrams.
- Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) was hired the day before the start of filming. On her first day filming she had to do a make out scene with Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson).
- In the original script, there was supposed to be an Indian kid named Rajeesh, who had to be Mercedes love interest, but he was replaced with Kurt Hummel. (We are happy about it too, Sorry Rajeesh)
- The original script had Artie's name spelled "Arty". This is made evident when Tina is signing hers and Artie's name on the glee club sign-up sheet and its spelled "Arty".
- The design for the choir room was taken from a high school in Burbank.
- Right before the song Rehab, when you see a dancer pulling on his suspenders and stretching his leg, that was glee choreographer, Zack Woodlee.
- During Rehab, one of the female dancers had their neck go out and had to go to the hospital.
- During the filming of the scene with Artie in the port-a-potty, Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) had brought his mom to set. His mother started crying while seeing her son in a wheelchair for the first time.
- It was mentioned that Mercedes was designing her own clothes but it was later dropped.
- Ian Brennan thought that glee shouldn't use Don't Stop Believin'
- Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang) is protective over who pushes Kevin's (Artie) Wheelchair. Stated be Amber Riley (Mercedes)
