Second Chance Mate
Cole's (Alpha's) POV
I sighed as I set my head in my hands. It was days like this I missed her more than ever.
The way Lily would rub my shoulders when I was stressed over a certain paper, or whisper soothing words to me when I was angry, and most of all the way she would kiss my cheek just to make me relax.
Fuck I miss Lily!
Two years since I've lost my mate. My true love. My future.
I sprung up from the office chair and punched another hole in the wall besides the book case.
Why are we even here, Cole?! Our life is useless without her here! Two years I haven't felt her wolf. It's too long! You've had your revenge, now can we please just join her now? I miss her so much.
I growled and clenched my jaw. My wolf has been begging me to kill myself since I felt Lily die so we could finally see her again, but I want my revenge on all rogues first.
They killed my mate.
My window was open as always so I jumped out of it and turned into my Crimson wolf and we ran through the Forrest.
I sniffed the air and the smell of a strange wolf hit me hard.
Rogue!
A growl erupted from my throat. Another one. Another wolf to kill for my Lily.
I sniffed the air one last time before charging towards the smell.
I stopped in my tracks when I saw the rogue.
A little girl sat on the Forrest ground crying.
Kill the rogue!
I shook my head at my wolf and looked closer at the girl. She looked like a tiny Lily. Her auburn hair and petite body.
I gave out a soft whine and the little girl's head shot up.
"Who-who are you?" She asked quietly, wiping her tears away.
I couldn't change back to answer her so I just shook my head.
Why aren't you killing her? She's a rogue! She's one of the reasons Lily is dead!
It's a little girl!
You didn't say that when you killed all of those families and their babies and children.
I sighed and focused on the girl again.
She tilted her head and asked me,"Are you going to kill me like how they killed my Mummy and Daddy?"
What? My men haven't killed anyone lately! So who killed her parents?
I shook my head again at the girl and she gave me a small smile before walking towards me and putting a small hand on my fur.
