excerpts from a book i wish i was good enough an author to write.

"I often wonder what you see in me, out of all the perfection that surrounds you, out of anyone and everyone in this word, why me? I'm miles away from anything great and something special, yet you stay. Why? How can you not see the wreck I am and the mess I create? Why do you not leave? Do you not see what I see?" she questioned, for probably the forty seventh time in two months.

He closed his, took a deep breath, a silly smile dancing on his lips and replied, "I see you as this beautiful girl who is a little lost and a little confused as to how she feels, who wants someone to love her deeply and unconditionally, someone who she can depend on. I see this lovely and lively girl who can make my day with just that smile of hers. I see so much in her, that it just makes me want to be with her." he replied.
"I see a lot in you and I absolutely love what I see and you don't know how much, that's why I keep coming back to you no matter what." he added.

*************

"...and I've been like that ever since then. It's like he messed me up so bad that I can never be fixed again." she sighed, a tear silently rolling down her left cheek.
He catches it, the tear, right over his favourite mole of hers, on the left cheek. "Let me fix you." he says, his thumb still resting there.
"You gotta fix yourself first." she replies with a smirk; he's astonished at her sudden change of mood. Just a few seconds ago she was sobbing like a kitten and now he can see the cold in her eyes is back.
"Okay, then, we'll fix each other. Let's share the glue and align ourselves. Perhaps, we could interchange some pieces and create the most beautiful mosaic ever."
She laughs at him mockingly; that certainly wasn't what he was expecting. Any other girl would have melted into his arms by now, but not her. She was never one to believe in love and all it's doing.

"That is as improbable as lovely as it sounds. There won't be enough glue for both of us if we get down to sharing, then we'll both end up beautiful, yes, but fragile. You'd never want that, now would you?" she replies taking his hands off her face.

the first one is an actual conversation and i didn't want to edit it much, so excuse that.
