--I never thought I'd cross paths with you again. I never thought we'd look at each other the way we used to. I never thought I'd love you again.--
Moving to LA was the best thing for me. It was my dream. My bestfriend Samantha, I call her Sam, moved out here with me because she had I get away.
Sam was Columbian with long hair and tan skin. Although she didn't like her looks, everyone around her did.
"OMG I can't believe I left my parents!!!" Sam exhaled and had a big smile on her face.
"I would've thought that you were sad. You're always with them." I was shocked that she don't miss her parents yet.
She was always with them. She never went a day without them.
"Michelle. Are you okay?" Sam looked deep into my eyes knowing that I was hurting inside.
"Actually. No. Ever since that night I dumbed into that guy, I haven't felt the same. About anything. I couldn't miss anything the way I miss him," I start to say. "He.... Just.... I don't know. Something about him just stands out to me."
"Maybe it was the fact that he was a hot white boy with black braids.. You know not many white boys can pull that off." Sam always knew how to get me to smile. That's why I asked her I move to LA with me. She was my other half. Without her, I don't know if I would be able to smile again.
"Well, lets unpack these stupid boxes." I hauled two boxes at the same time to my room. My room was a nice size. Fairly decent. White walls, a big closet to put my clothes and a bathroom. Noting much.
"Hey Michelle?" Samantha sounded worried. "Did we always have this?"
I walked into the living room to find a small statue of a dog in our "LIVING ROOM" box.
"We do now."
I returned to my room unpacking then I saw a picture from that night I met.. him, my crush.
