Deep in the forests of Brookwell lived a creepy old lady who never left her house and whenever she was brought up in the situation people always said how she would sit at the top of the lighthouse tower and sip her coffee and wait for her husband to return home from the ship docks. When she saw lights in the far distance she would light up the lantern for him to know she was home waiting for him to return home and would sit with her and sip coffee when the boat got closer to the lighthouse she saw all of the men dressed in white cotton suits with sailor hats on their heads and her husband was the first one off and she set down her coffee and quickly jotted down the 3 flights of stairs to get to her husband to kiss him and ask him about his day and how work was when she got to the bottom flight she ran to the door and at the door her husband opened his arms so she could jump in his arms and she presssed her lips ever so passionatly, wrapping her arms around his neck . Her husband set her down on the hardwood floor so her feet were touching the floors and he walked to the table and picked up an envolope and she said "Tomarrow we should go out to dinner sense it's our anniversery" as she reached in the cupboard and grabbed a glass plate and floyd turned around very frustrated and shouted "Tangina, you know i have work tomarrow i've told you this several times" and she sat down and shouted "You always work we don't do anything for our anniversery it seems like our marrige is falling apart ever since you got that job that's all you do" and he slammed down the envolope and said "You always like to start fights when you know for a fact i have work this is pathetic Tangina" He angrily shouted and walked upstairs to their bedroom and laid down and Tangina sat down on the couch and turned on the TV and about an hour after she sat down she fell asleep. The next morning was bright and early and she opened her eyes and looked around and looked at the clock and the clock read 8:30 and she knew that she had missed her husband going to work so she quickly grabbed the house phone and called his number and waited patiently to hear his voice say "Hello" and finally a few moments after he answered and said "Hey" and she waited a few moments and said "Hey Floyd it's me Tangina, I just wanted to say I love you and I miss you and happy anniversery" and then she could just picture the smile that came across his face and he said "Tangina, I love you too and I miss you too and I'm sorry about lastnight i just had a confusing night at work and happy anniversery my love" and then they hung up the phones after saying their i love you's and she walked away from the phone and hopped in the shower and a few minutes after she got out and finished getting dressed the phone rang so she quickly answered and the voice said "I love you forever and always" and she couldnt help but smile and she said "I love you more my love" and that was the end of the conversation. Later on that night she sat at the top of the lighthouse and waited for her husband to return home from his long hard day at work and finally she see's a light in the distance and she quckly flashed the lights and jotted ever so happy downstairs and waited at the front door for her husband to hug and kiss her but when a shadow walked towards her she noticed It wasn't him, when the man reached her he held out his hand and said "Hello you must be floyd's wife" and she looked around and said "Yeah, Do you know were floyd is, he normally is the first one off the boat" and he looked at her with sarrow eyes and took off his hat and placed it in front of his heart and she knew something was wrong and he said "Ma'm I'm so sorry but there was a shipwreck and Floyd unfortunetly weren't as lucky as the rest of us" and she forced herself to believe that it was all just a misunderstanding and she said "what no he didn't i just got off the phone with him you must be mistaken my husband is coming home tonight he promised" the man frowned and said "No ma'm you're husband is dead" and he handed her an envolope and she quickly opened it and pulled out a folded piece of lined paper and her eyes layerd on the first letters that read "Tangina my love, I told my friends from the ship deck to give this too you if i didn't make it and if you're reading this you should know this " I love you and I dont want you too ever think that i didn't love you, I know i promised i would come home tonight and celebrate our anniversery with you but unfortnetly i couldn't make it but happy anniversery my love someday I'll see you in heaven and i will kiss you and won't stop until you know i loved you so much that it killed me to write this letter" and then the 2 words that said "Love Floyd. everyday after that letter she recieved she waited at the top of the lighthouse hoping he would return but after a month she realized he was gone and wasn't returning and she didn't move from the lighthouse top and she was looking around and saw some rope and she thought and came with the plan that she wasn't gonna live without her husband and she grabbed the rope and wrote a note that said "I love him, and he promised that he would meet me with a kiss and tell me he loves me so therefore I'm happy" and she tied the rope around her neck and through herself over the railing and swayed in the wind until she died and sure enough he greeted at the doors with a kiss and told her he loved her and he kept his promise to her.
