Hello everyone! Loftwing here and today (or whatever day you're reading this) I'll be doing a review of a musical called Razia's Shadow by Forgive Durden.

I was introduced to this by my cousins Nebelung and Turkish Angora. They made me listen to Track 8 and 13 and I thought "dis is pre coo!" and I looked up the other songs and fell in love with a good portion of the songs. I'll place a heart on the ones I love most xD

Genesis <3

Not much to say about this. O the Scientist created the Light and Dark and Ahrima(From the Light) and Nidria(From the Dark) fell in love.

The Missing Piece

Ahrima and Nidria love each other and they're singing about how nobody but the other understands them and they love each other and ajbstesbt... A bunch of other cheesy nonsense.

Life Is Looking Up <3

Ahrima is singing about showing his gift to his people but they don't appreciate him or respoct 'is authoritah! So he runs to the Dark and sits in his emo corner and a spider lands on his shoulder.

The Spider And The Lamps <3

Barayas the spider is like "hey I saw what they did to you and you should like totes get revenge" And Ahrima is like "your right mr talking spider ill go do that right now" So he goes and destroys the lamps that he created and everyone is sad and their entire village is destroyed? I got kinda lost at this point. But Toba the Tura is summoned and holds Ahrima responsible.

Toba The Tura **half a heart for this one**

So this guy is like an undertaker or a grim reaper Idk but he is there to banish Ahrima to the abyss and he's all like "They say you're gifted, well I just see a scared kid" Bruh, like, you'd be scared too if you were being sent to hell... So Ahrima is banished and he's sad and crying or something that makes me feel really bad for him D: And the Light and Dark are separated and are now like enemies all because of one guy...

The Oracle

For some reason I thought this guy would have a deeper voice. Whateves. So the Oracle says the only way for the Light and Dark to become one again is if two people (one from the Light and one from the Dark) fall in love and it will be so strong, everything will be cool again.

A Hundred Year, Minute-Long Intermission

It's exactly as it says. During this one minute of going to the bathroom, buying a snack, stretching your legs, there is a hundred year time lapse in the story.

The Exit <3

During the time lapse thing, two brothers from the Dark, Adakias (the youngest) and Pallis (the oldest. Yes, that's his name) are born and as children they are told of the stories from the past about Ahrima and how he messed up in life and the only way to fix what he did, another dude has to fall in deep love with someone from the other side. Adakias believes he is the one chosen for this but everyone else is like "That story is just fiction! A fairytale! You're not the chosen one!" But Adakias is like "I don't want to be evil anymore!" And tries to leave. But Pallis stops him and tells him that if he leaves, he will hunt him down and make him suffer. But Adakias is like "Yolo!" And leaves. He goes to the Light and meets a girl named Princess Anhura.

It's True Love <3

This song contains cheesy nonsense as well, but this time they did it right! So Adakias and Anhura fall in love and they are singing about how they were meant to be but they are "scared of falling too fast" but they'll manage to work it out! I never shipped a couple so much in my life! But before getting married, they go and see Anhura's father, the King.

Meet The King

Adakias and Anhura go and explain to the King that they love each other and want to get married. The King is all like "no he just wants my riches plus he carries a Dark aura..." And Adakias calls him a fool... Dude, like, that ain't how you convince a guy to let you marry his daughter, FOOL! So they leave and plan to get married in secret but Anhura gets sick and Adakias finds out that it's because of his "Dark aura" I mean, sure, that's pretty sad but how come that didn't happen to Ahrima and Nidria? Well, next song!

Holy The Sea

Adakias and Anhura meet some other dudes named Baruka and Baba Bawaba who tell them the story of Holy The Sea and they tell them the legend of Light and Dark. Adakias realizes that he is a descendent of Ahrima (My theory is that Ahrima and Nidria 'did it' and Nidria was preggers and never told anyone) And Adakias is now certain that he is the chosen one, destined to reunite the Light and Dark. After that, they go to the home of a crazy Doctor.

Doctor Doctor <3

(If I ever get to be in this play, I want to be the Doctor <3)

Doctor Dumaya explains that Anhura is deathly ill and if nothing is done she will die. Then he says that he will help them if Anhura stays with him and becomes his "personal" slave for all eternity. Anhura doesn't want to do it but Adakias makes her /)_- So the Doctor makes a medicine and heals her and she is all better. Then all of a sudden Pallis breaks through the door and we never find out what exactly happened to our pervy Doctor buddy...

The End And The Beginning <3

Pallis says that he was following Adakias all this time, along with his "dainty, exquisite guest" (Secretly wants to ship Pallis with Anhura... I'm sick, aren't I?) And he challenges Adakias and wants him to prove his love for the Princess. Pallis still believes that Adakias is following a stupid dream and wants to take him back home to the Dark, so he tells Anhura that Adakias is from the Dark, hoping that this will make her stop loving Adakias. But she still cares for him and this makes Pallis angry. He takes a dagger and tries to stab Anhura (anger issues much?) But Adakias jumps in the way and gets stabbed instead. Pallis is sad and crying and apologizing to Adakias for not believing him. Adakias keeps singing because he wants to go out with a bang. And then he dies D: Then Pallis and Anhura reunite the Light and Dark (Ship slowly gets stronger...) And that's pretty much how the story ends.

This is one of my fave musicals and I'm glad Nebs and Turky introduced me to it :D Even if I did find some plot-holes (Somebody will probably explain them to me later and I'll feel like a dum-dum) But anyway! Thank you for reading and feel free to recommend stuff for me to review in the future!

Bye!
