Jamie laid in his narrow bunk stuck in a deep state of thought. "Well three months and nothing no attacks, no sightings, nothing" he thought then his door monitor bleeped indicating someone wanting to enter. "Come in." He said as the door slid open and a person Jamie was glad to see...Larisa. "Hey Jamie whats up?"she asked "Nothing." He said as he sat up and hit his head off the top bunk, Larrisa giggled as he swore to him self "Really, because from where I'm standing you seem to be losing your head." She said and smiled, Jamie started to laugh "You may be right its just I've got so used to being on the field I'm starting to feel caged up." He said as he walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Well your going to have to sit in the dough out for a while." She said. He looked down and sighed "Alright its not like I have an option." He said as she smiled at him and Jamie kissed her. She found the back of his neck and wrapped her hands around his neck. He became more passionate as he lifted her up and held her close to him. "Uh am I interrupting something?" A voice said as Jamie broke the kiss and he turned to see a member of his team Kate Randall with a blushed look to her face. "Your fine Kate you need something?" Larrisa asked as she smiled. "Uh yeah Seward needs us in the command center ASAP." Kate said as she walked down the corridor. Jamie groaned and then set Larrisa down "Alright let's go find the old man." Jamie said as he walked out of the room followed by Larrisa " You know I don't get you Carpenter." Larrisa said with a smirk on her face "Don't get what?" Jamie asked

"Why your all mission deprived one minute then damn annoyed when we get a mission." She said "It's not that,its the fact when it happened we were..." He said as his words trailed off. As they entered the command room lined on both sides with computers and monitors he saw Kate and Jack which Kate had started to like a couple of months after Shaun's death. He wasn't abusive, cruel, or a jerk in fact he treated her like a queen. "Good you both finally are here." Seward said entering the room "We have had some mysterious happenings in the Scottish Highlands. These following images may disturb most off you." He said as the screen clicked to life and showed a small camp ,then a new slide showed a cabin, then a small creek. "About twenty hours ago we received these images and at them we discovered three murders." He said as he flipped the images and showed horrifying images of the murders one was a man about mid twenties wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans. His entire face was smeared in blood and his left leg had been ripped off and partially devoured. The next showed a man in his late fifties slashed across his chest and face. Then finally a woman about late forties wearing hiking clothes her back torn open and shredded. Finally the screen went dark as the teens looked at each other with a similar look of putting two and two together finally Jack spoke "Grizzlies?" Jack asked then Seward spoke "At first that's what we thought maybe a mad starving bear but these footprint casts and pictures suggest otherwise." Seward said. Handing a large orange envelope to Kate and passed around the pictures the envelope contained.

No even a minute later Jamie spoke "Lycanthropes sir?" Jamie asked "That's what the evidence seem to say." Seward said "I'm sending your team to investigate." Seward said as he looked at them. "Get loaded up you leave at dawn." He said, without another word the operatives left. Larrisa groaned as they left "Dang it this means I can't go with you." She said "Not so, me and Matt have been studying.." That's all he got out before Larrisa interrupted "Wait you studying, who are you and what did you do with my boyfriend?" Larrisa asked "Just here me out before you jump the gun we studied vampire anatomy and bio structure. Well the thing is we think we made a way for you to be able to go into the sunlight without it hurting you." Before he could get another word out Larrisa full of excitement pulled him into a deeply passionate kiss pressing herself against the hallway wall pulling him against her then broke the kiss to speak "Wow this is amazing finally I can walk both day and night again Jamie thank you, thank you so much." Larrisa exclaimed in excitement "Come on well go find Matt and get you going." Jamie said smiling at her.
