Her Last Goodbye

Chapter 2

"Just keep walking. Don't listen to them . Everything will be fine if you don't make eye contact". Chandler tries to listen to the constant ringing of the voice in her head as she walks down the school hallway. Like everyday, she is surrounded by a large crowd of other high school kids yelling out hateful comments and throwing crumpled notes at her. "Don't pay attention to them". The voice in her head continues to grow stronger and stronger. Almost everyday, Chandler deals with the hate so much that she breaks down into a totally insane meltdown. Today is one of those days. "Maybe they are right. Maybe you are worthless. Maybe I am Just a stupid and confused teen". Chandler cringed at these thoughts knowing what was to come, but tried her best not to think about it. Seconds before Chandler was in the classroom, somebody decided to test Chandler's emotions one step further. "Faggot"! Somebody screamed right into Chandler's ear. This was it. She was finished. Her emotions got the best of her and unleashed a mouthful of rage. "Why the hell do you even try? I know I'm a fucking idiot. I dont need all of you shitty people to remind me"! Chandler stormed through the large pool of students as she made her way to the bathroom. She opened up the door with a hell lot of force, as the science teacher, Miss Blanche, watched her silently. "I'm the only one in here. That makes this part a hell lot easier" she thought to herself as she locked herself into the stall the farthest away from the door. She slid down the wall, as tears started to pour down her face."Every fucking time", she said as she pounded her fist against the wall. In silence, she listened to her angry voice echo throughout the entire room. "Here we go", Chandler said lowering her voice. She zipped open her backpack and grabbed a small metal container. "Four should do it" she said as she opened the box and placed four white pills into her right hand. "See ya later reality" she thought to herself as she popped all four powerful pills into her mouth.
