Okay, so this is an essay I submitted to my english teacher as a homework, originally, and with it, I won the 1st place in a writing competition in my school.
So I thought of typing it down over here and I hope you like it! X

Chapter One
Samuel Montegomery is an orphan. He lives with a wealthy lady named Nina Frankford, who was his parents' very old friend.
"Nina, I finished all my homework, "cried Samuel, "can I fly my kite now?"
"Yes, sure... Go ahead. But first, let me check if your homework's actually done." Samuel handed Nina all his done work and headed out to fly his kite.
The weather was cloudy, and Samuel realized that, but he didn't really care and he insisted on flying his kite at the very moment, wether the weather likes it or not. So basically, he didn't really know how to fly a kite, he just thought you'd throw it in the air with its strings attatched to your hands with a piece of wood and it just.. flies away. But the kid's expectations were quite high.
He took a long look at the sky, then another look at the kite and swung his short left arm backwards, and WOOOOSHHH!
...
It didn't fly.
It got stuck to his hands with wet glue that needed some time to dry out. He burst inside the house, up the stairs, into his room, grabbed a piece of paper, stuck it on the wet part, out of his room, down the stairs, almost tripped on his way out of the house, and gave it another try.
"God, please!" he begged. And again, he swung his short left arm backwards, and WOOOOSHHH!
It flew this time! It looked so beautiful with its rainbow colours in the air, reflecting on the ground and flying up in the sky. Reddish-orange colours mixing with the violets, blues and greens. So extremely beautiful!
