Walking down the dark depressing streets of the west side of Trelingston city. My black hood was up. I didn't want anybody to know I was here. My jeans made a scuffing noise while I walked down the street in my black converse'. Most buildings on the street were falling apart, had fallen apart or were completely nonexistent. The next block down was where I was going. A nice two story building with many windows and a big sign with old letters that said "Antiques and Oddities". I stepped into the shop a pretty brass bell rang above me. In the gloomy shop there were many jars and old furniture pieces covered in dust. A big mirror reflected my shaggy brown hair and green eyes. I pulled back my hood, and stepped up to the counter that was in the middle of the building.

"How may I help you?" The old man asked. He seemed to be as old and dusty as the rest of the stuff in this shop.

"I came for the. Mmh." I cleared my throat. "The "sale"." He looked up seeming to be more happy.

"I'm mister Longazo. I'm the one who buys those. Would you like to come to the back room so we can talk." He stood up walking around his desk and opening a door to my right. Holding his arm out leading me in. In his office was a large oak desk that was intricately carved and worth quite a sum. But no where near as much as what I was here to sell today. His back wall was four foot up of drawers and the rest of the was was book shelves with old leather bound books and what I was here to get rid of. There was what I was looking to sell. My crystal. My crystal was dark blue about the size of a marble and it had the same roundness. It was wire wrapped and hung around my neck always. The really special thing was the big green bubble that sat in the middle though.

Every person in the world was born with their own crystal in different shapes different sizes different colors. When the person comes out of the womb the crystal comes in a separate womb of its own. No crystal is ever the same. Not even twins. Each is slightly different. Every single one is valuable to any collector. Especially if they are different like mine.

"So how much do you want for it?" Mr. Longazo said blatantly.

"I think I want to know your price." I said.

"I will give you a quarter million for it."

"I can do that." I took off my necklace and handed it to him.

"Now leave." He said.

"Wait, where is my money."

"Get out and live." He said pulling a gun out of his drawer, and pointing it at my head I walked out of his office. Knowing that I would get my crystal back.

I went home to a small apartment I was selling my crystal to get out of. The roaches scattered when I turned on the lights. I started to throw things and scream and yell and then I blacked out.

When I woke up everything was fuzzy. When I stood up I almost fell back over. I felt like half of me was missing. Lots of people talked about how when your crystal was gone you would go into limbo. Now I knew what they meant. All knew is that I needed to find my crystal and fast. Stumbling onto the street that the mans shop was on I almost fell over again. I accidentally ran into someone and they asked if I needed any help they said it looked like I was dying. I guess without your crystal which represents your life you would die I needed it back as soon as possible. I wobbled up to the door of the old man's shop and walked in.

"Where is it?" I screamed. I looked around and no mold man was there. On the counter was my crystal I went to grab it and I fell to my knees I had officially died. My crystal was gone. In death I still inched forward on the floor waiting for everything to go black but it hadn't yet. Reaching up to the counter I grabbed the crystal and blacked out.

I woke up panting fully drenched in sweat. Woah. I looked down at my chest to see my crystal resting on my sweaty shirt Either I had died. Or I just had a really bad dream. I laid back down panting. Holding my crystal close. Never willingly to let go. Not even for a roach less apartment.

"Look who decided to wake up." Said a girls voice. A tan girl with long black hair came out into the room I was laughing in. That's when I realized I wasn't in my apartment I was in a fancy hotel from the east side. Why was I here and who was she?
