"Alright, Zac Efron or David Beckham?" Cameron asked as we were eating lunch at Chili's. "Really? That's not even fair. I mean Zac is Zac and David is David. I can't decide! But probably David, he's got everything going on for him." I said eating a fry. "Okay, Emma Stone, or Cara Delevingne?" I asked. "Cara all the way." He smirked. "So enough about our celebrity options, I think it's been a month or more like two since we've talked about us." He said sipping on his soda. "Yeah I think it has. We've got a couple more to go I guess." I said blushing. "Come on, don't you still feel the same?" He asked holding my hand. He was looking at me with intense eyes, making the blood rush to my cheeks. "I mean of course Cameron, but all I ask is for a few more months." I said looking down at our hands. "Alright, I understand completely. A few more months it is. Or until you feel like you're ready." He said retracting his hand. I sighed wishing he had kept his hand on mine. "So, let's move on before it gets awkward.." He chuckled. "Okay, it was your day to plan something." I said sipping on my soda. "Very true. I have planned, well actually my mom planned it. Uh, lunch at my mom's house with my sister." He said shyly. "Oh how the tables have turned. SO you want me to meet your family now?" I asked getting up to follow him out of the restaurant. "Yeah, my mom noticed that I was hanging out with you a lot and wanted me to invite you to lunch. Nothing big, and then she told my sister and she wanted to come to meet you too." He said turning on his car. "Alright, not so nervous. Dress code?" I asked. "It's not fancy. You could wear anything." He smiled. "Are you going to change?" I asked to get a better idea. "Yeah, just my shirt to a flannel." He said looking down. "Alright, what time are we heading out?" I asked. "In about 2 hours." He said looking at the time. "That's more than enough time for me! Alright, do you mind dropping me off o I could at least look decent?" I giggled. "Anything for you." He smiled. As we were headed to my house, he talked about his mom and his sister and what they're like. "They sound amazing." I smiled. He really loves his family. Just the way he talks about them is like he looks up to them. "Yeah, they can be." He joked. "Alright, see you in 2 hours Z." He said as he pulled up the driveway. "Sounds good Cam. Thanks for breakfast." I said getting out. I walked up to my house and went inside. Okay so I'm a lot more nervous than I let on....

Okay, I showered this morning and have no makeup on. What to wear?! I stepped into my closet and looked around. It's a sunny day outside I could wear a skirt.. I pulled out a black skater skirt and played it on my bed. To dress it down what should I pair it with.... A jean button up. Not too fancy, not too casual. Alright, I grabbed my all black converse. Seems like an okay outfit. I slipped on the outfit and went to the bathroom to get my face and hair ready. I decided to just put on my face powder to cover a few blemishes and mascara. Nothing much, but enough. As for hair I decided to just wand curl it very messily so that it was more wavy than curly. And just like that I was ready in an hour. An hour more to freak myself out.

"Hey are you almost ready?" Cameron asked over the phone. "I've been ready! Are you on your way?" I asked grabbing  my purse. "Year I'm around the corner." He said. "Okay, meet you outside." I said hanging up. I locked the door behind me and walked over to the driveway as soon as Cam pulled in. "You look incredible as always." He smiled. "As do you!" I said hugging him. "So come on, don't want to be late." He said as we both got in the car. His mom's house was about 45 minutes away so we plugged in my phone and just jammed out to some music.

Before I knew it we had already arrived. "Alright, here we go." I whispered as Cameron opened the car door for me. Cameron knock a couple of times and looked at me with a reassuring smile. "Come on in! It's open!" We heard someone yell from the inside. Cameron reached over and opened the door. "Mom, it could have been a robber for all you knew." Cameron joked. "robbers don't knock dear."She said from a distance. "She's probably in the kitchen." Cameron said taking my hand and leading me through their house. "Hi mom." Cameron said hugging her. "Cameron, so good to see you!" She said hugging him too.  "Mom, this is Inez, Inez this is Mama Dallas." He said introducing us. "Oh my. She's gorgeous! Nice to meet you." She said giving me a hug. "Nice to meet you too!" I said hugging her back. "So lunch is almost ready, Sierra is on her way. She said. We both nodded. "So, tell me. How did you guys meet?" She asked as she went back to cooking. Cam and I looked at each other and started laughing. "I was at a coffee shop during my free period and I wasn't watching where I was going and I literally ran into him, making him spill his hot coffee all over himself." I said giggling in between. "How cute!" She said laughing. "Yeah it was actually pretty embarrassing." I blushed. "But hey, aren't you glad you spilled coffee all over me?" Cameron nudged me. "Of course." I said rolling my eyes. "So, how long have you guys been together?" Mama Dallas asked. "Mom! We're not like dating.." He blushed. "Oh I'm sorry, did I make things awkward?! You guys would be so cute togethet though." She smiled at both of us. "We're just friends." Cameron said again. "Okay okay! But when you guys end up together I'm going to say I told you so!" She said turning back around. "Um, do you need any help with anything?" I asked changing the subject. "Oh no! You're our guest! Cameron should be asking. Go set the table Cam." She said looking at Cameron. He got up and went to set the table. "So, you two are close." She said winking at me making the situation super awkward. "Yeah, we have a lot in common, we're always talking. We are pretty close." I nodded. "That's good. He needs someone like you in his life. And if my baby is happy, so am I." She smiled warmly. His mom is super nice and really cool. "Alright, you guys can stop talking about me! I'm back in the room." Cameron joked walking into the kitchen. "Geez, not everything is about you! We were actually talking about the weather." I joked getting up to help mama Dallas put the food on the table. "The party has arrived!" Someone yelled slamming the door. "Sierra!" Gina said hugging her. "Hi mom. Hey Cameron! Who's this?" She asked after hugging both of them. "This is Inez, a friend of mine." He said introducing us. "You don't just bring friends over for lunch..." She said after hugging me. "Well we are just friends," Cameron said looking at me. I felt bad. I mean I know he wants to be together and trust me, so do I, but I think the timing isn't right. And if anyone knows me, I'm all about timing. "If you guys say so!" She smiled walking over to the table. Gina was next to Sierra and Cam, and I was on the opposite side of the table. "Wow, this lasagna looks bomb," I said looking at it. "My mom makes THE best. Wait until you try it." Sierra said grabbing a piece.

So we all talked. The normal questions about myself, what my plans are, the usual. Cameron answered a few for me. I guess he does know me well. More than I thought actually. Maybe this whole timing this is just my way of pushing these feelings aside. I mean I like him a lot, butI think that's what scares me the most. I don't want to fall and have no one to catch me.

"Thank you so much for lunch. It was a pleasure meeting both of you." I said hugging them one last time on our way out the door. "It was nice to meet you too. You guys are welcome anytime!" Mama Dallas smiled. Cameron said bye and we walked back to the car. It was around 3 in the afternoon. "So, let's go to your spot," I said out of the blue. "Right now?" He asked looking at the time. "Yeah, why not." I smiled. He agreed, and we drove a little farther out to get to the place.

"You know, this isn't just my place anymore. It's ours. I mean, after all, you're the only person I've showed this place too." He said as we walked into the open field. He's always making me blush man! "Wel,l then I guess it's our place." I said reaching over for his hand. His head followed my hand and watched it until I intertwined my fingers with his. He looked back up at me but I was looking at the view beyond us. We walked over, closer to the edge, and enjoyed the view in silence. "I've really enjoyed hanging out with you." I said without looking at him. I fixed my eyes on the busy city beneath us. "I've had the best time." he sighed. "You know, I never would have thought this would happen. I mean us hanging out and getting to know each other. I thought I would have met you and then never see you in my life again." I said still looking out. He chuckled. "Yeah, it's crazy how fast it went." He said. We sat down close to edge still hand in hand. "So I've been thinking.." I said finally having the guts to look up at him. "What has your beautiful mind been up to?" He smiled. "Um, well, we've known each other for a couple of months now ya know." I said feeling the blood rush to my cheeks. Oh my gosh I'm embarrassing myself. "Come on! Out with it." Cameron laughed making the tension go away and instantly making me feel better. I looked at his lips and began to feel myself lean in. I saw him do the same and before I knew it, eyes were closed and mouths were touching. Electricity surged through my veins and made me feel so alive! He instantly kissed me back and it was passionate, but not hot, gently yet rough. It was amazing. "I was so not expecting that." Cameron said as a smile grew on his lips. "So what does this mean for us?" He asked. Our lips were only centimeters apart. I wanted to feel that same feeling again. "What do you think genius?" I said before crashing my lips onto his once again.

This is finally happening. Wanting to wait was a good idea, but I think we've waited long enough. "So is this official now? Inez, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked pulling me back to gain eye contact. "A million times yes." I smiled. He pulled me into a tight hug before we both got up. "Honestly, I'm way more excited than I had planned." He said. He couldn't stop smiling and neither could I. Maybe this is good. Maybe it could go terribly bad. But as of right now, none of that matters. Nothing was on my mind except for him....
