They continued to eat in silence as Matt felt eyes watch him as he finished eating and he looked up to see Josh’s twinkling eyes watching him with a smirk spread across his face. Matt picked up the last bit of his pancakes hoping to catch it in his mouth but not at all succeeding causing both the boys to laugh, something that had not happened for the last week and seemed to echo through the flat. It was music to their ears as Josh grabbed a napkin and wiped Matt’s chin that was now all sticky with syrup. Matt got up and took both plates to the sink, trying to show he was still the boy Josh fell in love with two to three years ago. He washed the plates and left them to drain as he heard light footsteps approach him from behind as Josh pulled him into his arms with no effort at all. “I’ve missed being able to take you into my arms so easily!” Josh said sweetly as he kissed Matt lightly on the neck taking Matt by surprise; he had gone a whole week without the elder boy’s touch as he now felt bliss being so close to him and able to see him smiling. Matt felt Josh lean against the counter behind him as he leaned into his chest listening to Josh’s faint heartbeat. They stood there for another ten minutes before Matt felt Josh trail light kisses up and down his neck, he lifted his head to look deeply into his lover’s eyes as they glowed down at him meeting his gaze. They didn't even have to talk about it, that week was nothing it seemed to fade and not exist now they were back in each other's arms. It was so easy to let the other back in and heal them as mcuh as they can. Matt felt himself lean in wanting to kiss the elder’s lips and just hold him for as long as he would be allowed before Josh would be ripped away from him again for no reason. Their lips touched after a week of emptiness, making one another whole and causing sparks to fly. Matt’s heart skipped a beat at his boyfriend’s touch as they soon pulled away as Josh demandingly pulled Matt towards their bedroom, they reached their door as Ramsay insisted on kicking it open and they both collapsed on the bed, Matt was happy to be with Josh again, able to feel his touch and see him was just enough… a week too long away from the man he loved. They were both lying on their sides facing one another as Josh traced Matt’s features lightly with the end of one of his fingers making Matt squirm every so often. Both of them were smiling and it seemed as though the whole dispute had been forgotten. You see, when you’re in love no matter what you say, actions seem to speak louder than words. They could both see the other was lost without their love, all words they said to one another where just out of rage and god knows if they meant any of them but that didn’t matter now. The whole week they both became some they promised never to be again. They learnt how they can’t cope without each other.
